Do you desire to walk the streets of the city of pure gold?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, God is calling all of us who hears His word and abides in them to “Come”, to take the water of life freely, so that our names shall be written in the Lambs Book of Life, and be able to walk the streets of the city of pure gold. I don’t know about you, but I want to walk through the pearly gates of the city, I want to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear Him say, “Welcome home my child! Welcome, My good and faithful servant.” Won’t you Come?
Is God alive in your heart this morning?
He is alive! Jesus left the tomb open wide. He is living in my heart. Will you allow Him to live in your heart too? He’s alive! He is worthy to be praised. He redeemed us and we are saved, by the blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah! He’s alive!
Is your greed causing you to stray away from the faith?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, God never tempts us, it is the desires of our hearts which leads us astray, and it is the evils of greed, jealousy and covetousness, which leads us away from God. For after having these sinful desires, we act on them which always leads to temptation and sin. But, God always offers us a way out, but many refuse to take it, we allow the enemy to control our minds and cause to do things contrary to what God requires of us. But, we are not ignorant of these things that we should not be aware of the snares which could readily ensnare us, but being always vigilant, persistent in prayer, content with such things as we have and being confident, that, God will give us the desires of our hearts which are good for us, we will be able to resist the evils which lurks around us and remain steadfast in our faith. Praise the Lord!
Will you put off the old man with his deeds, and put on the new man which was created in God?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, for too long we have walked as the Gentiles walked, in the futility of our minds, in works of darkness, but the time has come for us to shake off that old man and put on Christ who is love, who knows no evil, but all that is good. Let us be kind one to another, tenderhearted and forgiving, even as God in Christ forgave you. Praise the Lord!
Do you belong to Jesus? Are you willing to let him reign over everything in your life?
Give it all to God, all your wants and longings, and watch him work out what is best for you. Give it over to God and he will fight your battles for you, when you give yourself to God he will reign in your inmost heart, over everything. Praise the Lord!
What are you a slave to? Do you want to be free?
Many of us at some point in our lives have been bond-slaves to sin, but in the acceptable time, and through faith in God, were freed. God sent his Son, his only Son to die for our sins, and He purchased our pardon with His bloodshed, so you and I could be free. Thank you, Lord!
Are you conformed to the world, or do you want to be transformed?
If you want to be transformed from this world, do not follow the behavior and customs of this world, but allow God to transform you into a new person by changing the way you think, and present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Only then you will come to know God’s will for you, what is good and pleasing and perfect, and have faith, and you will overcome the world. Praise the Lord!
How strong is your desire to know God
Many will say that they have a strong desire to know God, but, they never ask of God for his teachings or for a deeper understanding of his word. When you begin to hunger and thirst after righteousness, to meditate daily on God’s word, your desire to know God will become stronger. You must be devoted to fearing God’s name, ask God to turn your eyes away from evil things which will cause you to stray from his precepts and ask God to revive you in his way. Praise the Lord!
My brothers and sisters in Christ, is your life worth living? Do you know who holds your future this morning?
Your life is worth-while living, God holds your future, and because he lives, you and I could always face tomorrow. No longer is he wrapped and secured in a tomb. He arose! He arose! Alleluia! Christ arose to give us live, and because he lives, we can claim the victory. Thank you, Lord!
How well do you know God? Do you have a desire to know him better?
It will be to your advantage and mine to truly come to know God, through his word, to develop a hunger and thirst for him, for the time is coming when we are going to need a rock, an anchor, something to sustain us, and the more knowledgeable we are of God’s word, the better able we will be to stand in the evil times. Praise the Lord!
