Are you prepared to meet the Messiah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords?
The time to prepare is now, the place to begin is here. Many say they have time, but time belongs to God alone, tomorrow is not promised to you or to me, so begin to make ready the way of the Lord, make the pathway straight, so that you will be counted among the faithful. Praise the Lord!
Are you able to remain peaceful during the storms of life?
Give us peace, Lord, when all around us the world is falling apart. Teach us to be like you, for you were born in a stable with all that noise, yet, you were able to sleep peacefully on the hay. Many have the best beds, but yet they cannot sleep because they have no peace, they have houses filled with good things, yet no will to enjoy it, because they are still not content, but, show us Lord, how to make room in our hearts and our homes for you, show us how to abide in you, so that we may be humble and content, that we may be able to remain peaceful during the storms in our lives. Lord, we will make room for you in our homes and your hearts, for in a heart where God lives, is home where God abides? Praise the Lord!
Will you allow your fire to warm someone’s heart this Christmas?
Dear God, rekindle the fires burning within us to warm someone else’s heart this Christmas. Heavenly Father, we are living in the midst of so much pain and suffering, wants and needs, heartaches and struggles. There are so many broken among us, so many in need of a kind word or gentle touch, so use us, Lord, in mighty ways, to reach out and touch our brothers and sisters in needful ways and spark a fire within their hearts, hearts filled with Christmas Spirit, that will not only carry them through this Christmas but all through the New Year, in Your might name we pray. Amen!
Will you accept God’s free gift of Salvation today?
Jesus is the light of the world, He who accepts His no longer walks in darkness but in His marvelous light. When we accept Him as Lord and Master of our lives, we will then receive the free gift of Salvation and walk in His marvelous light.
Will you praise the Lord with me this morning? Lift high His name, for He is excellent in all the earth!
Lord, there is none like you, there is no other worthy of the praises I sing. Lord, when I think of all that you have done and continue to do for me, my heart is overwhelmed; but I am confident dear Lord, that when my heart is overwhelmed that you will lead me to the Rock that is higher and greater than I. Thank you, Lord!
Will you rejoice with me this morning for our Emmanuel?
Rejoice, rejoice, Emmanuel, shall come to thee Oh Israel! I could shout it from the rooftop, I could sing it on the mountain top, all hail, all hail Emmanuel, shall come to thee O Israel!
Will you ask God to keep you in the narrow way?
Dear God, we come before you with open hearts, hearts burdened by our many transgressions, and we ask your forgiveness. Lord, keep us in the narrow way, may we with willing feet, ever seek Thy mercy seat, lead us Lord, be our guiding star, so that when all is past we will be with you at last. Amen!
Will you laud and magnify the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, who bore the cross for you and for me?
Let us greet him with anthems sweet, let us with joy sing praises to him; let us spread the good tidings of this Christ-child who came to set us free. Lord, we hail you, we laud and magnify you, because you are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who brings salvation free to all. Thank you Lord!
Will you come to Bethlehem with me to see the Christ-child? What gift will you bring before him?
Dear God, show us the way to Bethlehem, lead us by your guiding star and make us willing Lord, to bring him gifts most rare, gifts that he will be able to use, humble us Lord, and give us adoring, willing, faithful, hearts to bring before the Christ-child. God will use your heart and mine to bring hope, joy, peace and love to someone, somewhere this Advent Season.
Do you have a desire for God? How do we begin to seek God? Is it easy to find God?
Lord, your word reminds us, that all those who seek you will find you. Therefore we will seek to find you through your word, we will look for you in the dark corners of our lives, we will look for you in sickness and in trouble, we will look for you in sorrow and in pain, for we know that you are not hidden from us, we just need to come to know you in an intimate way, and we realize oh Lord, that we cannot be intimate with someone we do not love, so show us how to first love you, to hunger and thirst after you, to put you first in our hearts and then, we will find you, and you will dwell in us, and we in you. Amen!
