“But he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

How assuring it is to know that God’s mercies unto us are new and returning every day? Therefore, why are we unable to begin anew, to turn over a new leaf, to right wrongs, to restore broken relationships, and to forgive and forget past hurts and move ahead? Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgression, bruised for our iniquities, chastised for our peace and beaten so that we could be healed; But are we healed, do we have any peace? My brothers and sisters in Christ, we cannot be begin anew and keep falling back into the same habits. We cannot be totally healed without accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Master of our lives. Without us walking daily with him, we will have no peace. We must surrender all to Jesus, for when we are born again old things are passed away and we are become new, and God will prevent us from stumbling, he will direct our paths, his peace will dwell in us, and we would always be reminded, that he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, chastised for our peace, and by his stripes we are healed. Praise the Lord!

“The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, to preach good tidings to the poor, to proclaim the good news of salvation from day to day and to proclaim this year the acceptable year of the Lord.”

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, he has given me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness”, all because I have accepted him as Lord and Master of my life, because I am not ashamed of him or his word, and I will continue to proclaim his good news of salvation from day to day. Whosoever will, may come, and as a result, you will no longer be termed forsaken, nor your land be termed desolate, for the Lord will be your delight and he will delight in you. Praise the Lord!

Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid? Make a commitment today, to lay it all on the altar, and see what God can do. I laid it all on the altar and God is doing magnificent things in my life. Thank you Lord!

This year, I am sure you are looking for great things to happen, you may have experienced rough times in 2013, and at times longed for sweet peace, there were probably a lot that you were expecting and did not receive, you may have prayed, fervently prayed, but your answers have been delayed, but, you will never find peace, nor will your favor increase, or be perfectly blessed, until your all on the altar of sacrifice is laid.

The blood that Jesus shed for me, way back at Calvary will never lose its power, the blood that sustains me from day to day, will never lose its power. Thank you Lord!

I may lose all that I possess, but thanks be to God that I will never lose the blood that Jesus shed for me, this blood which delivers me, this blood which gives me strength from day to day, this blood that holds me up when I am too tired to walk, this blood that cleanses me from every stain of sin will never lose its power. There is wonder working power in the blood of Jesus. Thank you Lord!

“He leadeth his own with a gentle hand, a wonderful Savior is he, Oh where is the friend that on earth you could find, so full of compassion as he?”

Dear Lord, please lead us and guide us through the new year, open new doors for us to walk through, lift up the light of your countenance upon us, use us in exceptional ways, humble us so that we may walk  in your ways, sustain us and enable us by your grace. Lord, we can do nothing in our own strength, but we could do all things through you who strengthen us, and we are so thankful for your love. There is no one else, who could love us so much, no one else so full of compassion as you are, and that is why we could begin this new year with confidence, with a new start, and with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude, make us humble Lord!

Make it your aim this year to begin walking in the light of the Lord, it has great rewards.

What better time to begin walking in the light of the Lord, than the beginning of the year? How could we continue to walk in darkness when we have so much to be thankful for? We have seen God’s marvelous light. All through the year 2013, God has been providing for us, he has been guiding us through all of the problems that we faced, he has been there for us in so many ways, and now we are at the start another year, he gives us another reason to say thank you, in that we could begin anew, confident that his love and mercy will surround us. Show God how thankful you are by inviting into your hearts, making room for him there, and know that he will abide there not just for the New Year, but for all eternity. Happy New Year!

We have come to the end of another year, and it’s time for reflection. My brothers and sisters in Christ, looking back, are you still in the same place you were a year ago? Where do we go from here?

For 2014 we will go forward in the strength of the Lord, not looking back with regrets, but looking forward with expectation, and a new sense of purpose. Things may not have worked out the way you wanted them to over the past year, but know that you are not a failure because of this, you are more than a conqueror, because for all that you have been through you are still here, all because of God’s grace. My brothers and sisters in Christ, put God first in all things and be confident in this very thing, that God’s grace is sufficient for you. No matter what you will face, allow God to go before you, he promised to fight all of your battles, but if you go before him, you will be without protection, and a year from now, you will find yourself in the same place. Will you trust God? I urge you to let go and let God fight all of your battles, allow him to go before you and prepare the way, and 2014 will be your year filled with blessings. Praise the Lord!

I never want this Christmas season to end, it’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Let us live the Christmas spirit in our hearts all year round, being happy, joyful and blessed.

‘O, come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, oh, come let us adore him, Christ the Lord!”

There have been times when my troubles were multiplied and I found it hard to be faithful to God, but as I grew in my walk with God, as I experienced his love for me, it became easier for me to be faithful, joyful and triumphant in the Lord. You too could experience God’s love for you, to see how faithful he is to you, and how joyful and triumphant you will be walking with him; you too will come to adore him. O, come let us adore him Christ the Lord!

“Angels from the realm of glory, wing your flight o’re all the earth, ye who sang creation’s story, now proclaim the Messiah’s birth. Come and worship, worship Christ the new born King.”

We have so many reasons to rejoice this glorious season. The Lord is King! The Savior of the world is come! Our redeemer lives! Our Emmanuel is with us! God with man is now rejoicing, yonder shines the infant light, come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the new born King.
