As we continue to pray, fast, give alms, and make our humble confessions before God during this Holy Lenten Season, we are confident that God’s ears are never too heavy to hear us. Thank you, Lord!
Dear God, we acknowledge that we are inadequate, that we are weak, that we are sinful, and we come humbly before you today, asking you to make whatever adjustments necessary in our lives so that we could perform such good works as thou have prepared for us to walk in. Lord, you said your grace is sufficient, your word tells us that we can do all things through you who strengthens us, and whatever we are unable to accomplish because of our inadequacies, we are confident O God, that you are able to do more than we could ever ask or deserve; and so, dear Lord, use us to do your will, enable us to be the vessels through which we could attract those who are yet to know you as Lord and Master of their lives, in Jesus’ name we pray. Our God is a good God, he will not treat us the way we deserve, as he knows how frail we are in our service to him and is always willing to give us another chance. Thank you, Lord!
O God, your desire for us is to live, clean, godly. and sober lives, but we yield to temptation, we look to others for direction instead of following your examples; but we have come to realize, that no matter how far we stray from you, that you are always with us, so accept our repentant hearts Lord, forgive us for our errant ways and lead us in the path that leads to righteousness. All this we ask in your most holy name. Amen!
For all false judgments, for uncharitable thoughts towards our neighbors, and for our prejudice and contempt for those who differ from us. Accept our repentance, Lord.
We are all quick to judge others based on their outward appearance, we think evil thoughts not only to our neighbors, but others who treat us wrongly, there is so much prejudice in this world and it requires us to stand up for justice, for what is right, and what is good, when we encounter prejudice. Lord, let the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be always acceptable in your sight, O Lord, our strength, and our redeemer. Amen!

Dear Lord, only you can order our unruly minds, only you could create a clean heart within us and a right spirit so that we could do what is good and right and just, therefore we stand ready for you to move with us, in us, and through us, as you do your will, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
Lord, we confess to you our negligence in prayer and worship, and our failure to commend the faith that is in us. Forgive us, Lord!
My brothers and sisters in Christ, we could all be more diligent in prayer and worship. Let us commit ourselves during this Lenten Season, to make prayer and worship an integral part of our days, and to just take some extra time out for Jesus, because He took time for us. Help us, Lord!
Lord, we confess to you our intemperate love of worldly goods and our dishonesty in daily life and work. We forget that all that we have are gifts from you. Please forgive us.
Accept our humble confessions, Lord, because this Lenten Season breathes awareness into our lives, bringing to the forefront all of the errors of our ways. We put so many other things before you, worldly things that will pass away, we are dishonest in our daily life and work, we rob you of your tithes and offerings, we are lacking in our service to you, our time of worship is at our convenience. we take time with everything else, but our prayer time is rushed, and when we make time for others, it is only for a show; forgive us, Lord. Heavenly Father, teach us to be more vigilant in prayer, and more earnest in our service to you; using our time, talents, and resources to bring you honor and glory.
Lord, we confess to you, our anger at our own frustration, and our envy of those more fortunate than ourselves. Accept our repentance, Lord!
Lord, we get confused and frustrated when we yield to our own way, instead of following your way, we spend time focusing on the blessings of others, instead of believing that we are next in line for our blessings. Teach us, Lord, to wait patiently on you.
WOW! I just have to pause for a moment and remember the last time I saw my sister Genevieve alive. It was one year ago today, and it seems like yesterday; but I won’t shed a tear, because my sister asked me to sing this song at her funeral, but I had never heard the song before, but she said it was one of her favorites, so today, I am playing this song, over and over again. “Don’t cry for me when I’m gone”. Rest in God’s perfect peace Genevieve, until we meet again.

We confess to you, Lord, our self-indulgent appetites and ways, and our exploitation of other people and ask for your forgiveness.
Heavenly Father, we admit that we have been chasing after our own desires, instead of trusting you to give us those things that we need. We have allowed these desires to exploit others, hoping to be satisfied, forgetting that our joys could only be full when we totally surrender all to you. So, today, we pledge to no longer follow the desires of our hearts that lead us further away from you, but will delight ourselves in you so that you could give us the desires of our hearts.
