“Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved, how precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.”

Could you remember the hour, the minute, the day, you first believed? I could! It was November 16th, 2003. It was an amazing day, and it took me a good minute to fully come to realize that God was tired of me walking in my own willful way and said, my child, now is the appointed time; since that day, He has taught my heart to fear, and His grace continues to relieve my every fear, His grace, is all I need, to carry on walking in His way. Thank you, Lord!

“Amazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.” Thank you, Lord, for your amazing grace that opened my eyes to see, and my ears to hear and understand so that you could save a wretch like me.

“Jesus said, therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. For the hearts of these people have grown dull, their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear and have not heard them.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, may God’s amazing grace open your eyes to see and your ears to hear and understand, and be converted.

God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause his face to shine upon us, that His ways may be known on the earth. Psalm 67

“May the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his. face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord. turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Have a blessed Sunday full of God’s peace.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

“I stand amazed in the presence, of Jesus the Nazarene, and wonder how he could love me, a sinner, condemned and unclean. How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be. How marvelous! How wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!”

“On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.”

When you know that your hope is built upon nothing less, but Jesus’ blood and righteousness, you can confidently say, ‘On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, and when all around my soul gives way, He still is all my hope and stay”. Thank you, Lord!

“Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God, and Thy goodness like a fetter bound my wandering heart to Thee.” Thank you, Lord!

“Come, my Lord, no longer tarry, take my ransomed soul away, send Thine angels now to carry
me to realms of endless days. Here’s my heart Lord, oh take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above.”

“High King of heaven, my victory won, may I reach heaven’s joys, and bright heaven’s sun, you know my own heart, so whatever befall, still be my vision, O, ruler of all.”

“Pick me up Lord, wash the dirt off my face, show me where I’m wrong, and put me back in my place, pick me up Lord, set me straight again, when I start to falter, let me hold to your hand. Sometimes I rub against the sin around me, and I guess some of it gets into my soul, but every time, I’ve sinned, you found me, Jesus, because you’ve got too much love to be wasted, so Lord, I’ll try to use what is my share, my heart may be small, but I’ve tasted heaven, and Lord, you are the only one who cares, so, continually pick me up when I falter and set me straight again. I want to experience heaven’s joy and heaven’s bright sun.”

“Sun and moon shall be darkened, stars shall fall, the heav’ns shall flee. Christ will then like lightning shine; all will see his glorious sign. All will then the trumpet hear, and all will see the Judge appear. You, Lord, by all will be confessed, God in man made manifest.”

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more, and the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair; when the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, and the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, when the roll is called up yonder,
will you be there? I want to be there, so I am doing my best to make it in.

Heavenly Father, the days and years are moving so quickly, and it may cause us to get caught up in the business of this world and lose sight of our heavenly goal, so we ask for your grace as we move forward in this New Year, for a closer walk with you. Amen!

“Grant us grace to see you, Lord, mirrored in your holy Word, May our lives and all we do, imitate and honor you, that we all like you may at your great epiphany and may praise you, ever blest, God in man made manifest.” Help us, Lord!
