Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.  Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6,7

My brothers and sisters in Christ, there are many false witnesses in the world. “See to it that no one takes you captive with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.“

Which one of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Matthew 6:27

Give us this day our daily bread! My brothers and sisters in Christ, if we pray in this manner and believe, God will provide. He did not teach us to say, give us bread for tomorrow or next week, he taught us to say, give us this day, our daily bread. So, stop worrying about what you need for today, or worrying about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries, today’s trouble is enough for today. We must be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, and with thanksgiving, we should make our requests to God, casting all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, allelu, alleluia!”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all that need.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

My brothers and sisters in Christ, whatever we ask of God by faith, believing, we shall receive. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. But too many times we get impatient and instead of waiting on God, we ask the wrong people for help, we look in the wrong places, and we knock on the wrong doors. But I want you to understand this, that, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary and walk and not faint; so, teach us, Lord, to wait patiently on you.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

“Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking. Have compassion on our weaknesses and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, or for our blindness, we cannot ask, through the worthiness of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!” BCP

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions like the heathens do, for they think they will be heard for their many words, therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him. Matthew 6:7,8

Our heavenly Father has taught us how to pray, so, rather than praying as the heathens do, pray in this manner. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen!

Christ Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers, all things have been created through him and for him. Colossians 1:15,16

“Immortal, invisible God only wise, in light in accessible hid from our eyes, most blessed most glorious the Ancient to days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise. To all life thou givest, to both great and small; in all life thou livest, the true life of all; we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, and wither and perish but naught changeth thee.”

The fear of the Lord leads to life, so that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil. Proverbs 19:23

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

I do not understand what I do. For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do. Romans 7:15

How many of us allow our bodies to betray us? Our minds are willing to do what is good, but our bodies continually do evil. We are reminded in Galatians chapter five, that, the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep us from doing whatever we want. Therefore, we must be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

The God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. Daniel 3:17

How of us have the confidence in God, to believe, that he is able to deliver us from anything that we are facing? My brothers and sisters in Christ, God is able! The God we serve is able. He is able to deliver us from evil, sin, sickness, want, and need. Believe and declare with me, and believe in your heart and by the power of God, that evil has no power over us, sin has no dominion over us, sickness shall not affect our bodies, and all of our wants and needs, God will supply. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen! Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who watches over us day and night!
