I don’t know about you, but the Lord is my Shepherd and I don’t want for anything, because God supplies my every need. He is my provider, my father whose house abounds in bread and he will not withhold anything good from me if I continually walk in His way and trust Him completely. I will never doubt His abilities.

What then shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind. 1 Corinthians 14:15

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16

“Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, to his feet your tribute bring; ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, who like you his praise should sing? Alleluia, alleluia! praise the everlasting King. “New every morning is the love, our wakening and uprising prove; through sleep and darkness safely brought, restored to life and power and thought. New mercies, each returning day, hover around us while we pray; new perils past, new sins forgiven, new thoughts of God, new hopes of heaven. If on our daily course our mind, be set to hallow all we find, new treasures still, of countless price, God will provide for sacrifice.” Thank you, Lord!

What if the Lord had not been on our side? Let all Israel now say, if it had not been for the Lord on our sides when people rose up against us. then they would have swallowed us up alive when their anger was kindled against us. The waters would have engulfed us; a torrent would have overwhelmed us. Our help is in the name of the Lord! Psalm 124

When we are suffering, we should make it a habit to pray. “Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Also, when we are happy, we should make it a habit to praise the Lord.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100

“Blessed is the man You discipline, O Lord, and teach from Your law. Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I keep Your word. My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decree”

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
