Today is International Women’s Day, and this year’s theme is: ‘Women in Leadership’. The color for today is PURPLE, which is the color of dignity and self-respect.
My sisters in Christ, we want to shine in the world, we want to be WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP ROLES, and we could; but first, let us be Proverbs 31 women who knows our worth and our responsibilities, and use our strengths, skills and knowledge to advance ourselves and those around us. As members of your various churches, both your inner and outward appearance should reflect the respected position you hold, as members in the church, and make it your aim to be the voice for those women who cannot speak for themselves, to use your influence in the community to bring about change for women’s rights.
