And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
“For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” What an awesome God we serve!
May He give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4
And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5:14
For what nation is great enough to have a god as near to them as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call on Him? Deuteronomy 4:7
The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them. Psalm 145
“Chosen to be soldiers, in an alien land, chosen, called, and faithful, for our Captain’s band, in the service royal, let us not grow cold; let us be right loyal, noble, true and bold. Master, Thou will keep us, by Thy grace divine, always on the Lord’s side, Savior, always Thine!” Thank you, Lord!
I don’t know about you, but I am on the Lord’s side today and always. We are all aliens in foreign lands, but Citizens of Heaven, and we need to hold on to that, because no matter our nationality, God has chosen us to be soldiers, we were chosen, called, and faithful, for our Captain’s band. We are earthly citizens where our rights and protections are daily threatened, but under God, our rights and protections are secure. We may be earthly citizens, but those who are called and chosen by God are not conformed to the ways of the world we live in but are instead transformed by the renewing of our minds. We are not easily swayed; we stand firm on the promises of God. He will keep us by his Grace, if we stay on his side. I am on the Lord’s side, how about you?
One thing I have asked of the Lord; this is what I desire: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and seek Him in His temple. Psalm 27:4
“Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me: and in God’s house forevermore my dwelling place shall be.”
“My table Thou hast furnished in presence of my foes; my head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows.”
Who God bless no man curse. Whatever God does is irreversible. Trust in the Lord!
“Yea, though I walk thro’ death’s dark vale, yet will I fear no ill; for Thou art with me, and Thy rod and staff me comfort still.”
They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the Lord was my support. 2 Samuel 22:19 “I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
“The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want. He makes me down to lie, in pastures green; He leadeth me the quiet waters by.”
Our God is so good, he provides for us in so many ways, and that is why we should stand on His promises, that, his goodness and mercy for all our lives, shall surely follow us, and therefore, in God’s house forevermore, our dwelling place shall be. Amen!
God is good all the time. His goodness fails not; they are from generation to generation.
“Oh, Your mercy never failed me, all my days, I’ve been held in Your hands, from the moment that I wake up, until I lay my head, oh, I will sing of the goodness of God. You have led me through the fire, and in darkest night You are close like no other, I’ve known You as a Father, I’ve known You as a Friend, and I have lived in the goodness of God. All my life You have faithful, all my life You been so, so good, with every breath that I am able, oh, I will sing of Your goodness O God.”
Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts! We are filled with the goodness of Your house, the holiness of Your temple. Psalm 65:4
“Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.”
