What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? James 2:14

Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing; if one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-17

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Matthew 25: 31-32

“He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, will you be on the right hand or on the left hand of the King?

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans14:12

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, prepare yourselves, for the Day of Judgment will come. All of us will have to give an account of our stewardship. The world and all that is in it are passing away but the word of God will live on, do all that you do for the glory of God.

So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. 1 Peter 4:1

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you have suffered physically for Christ, you won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. You have already lived long enough like people who don’t know God. You were immoral and followed your evil desires. You went around drinking and partying and carrying on. In fact, you even worshiped disgusting idols. Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you; but remember, that they will have to face God, who will judge everyone, both the living and the dead.

“O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light when you look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free.” My brothers and sisters turn your eyes upon Jesus and walk in the light!

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace. Through death into life everlasting, He passed, and we follow Him there; over us sin no more hath dominion, for more than conquerors we are! His Word shall not fail you, He promised; believe Him and all will be well; then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell!”

Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? By no means! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? Romans 6:1-2

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we should not let sin control the way we live; we should not give in to sinful desires. Let us not believe that it is ok to continue to sin so that God’s grace may abound more. We must count ourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. For through the Law we died to the Law so that we might live to God. Praise the Lord!

But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the Law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. Romans 7:6

My brothers and sisters in Christ, since we who were all were baptized into Christ and have clothed ourselves with Christ, we must live in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And since we have been released from the law and now serve in a new way in the Spirit, let us put off the old man with his deeds, let us not think about ways to indulge in evil desires, but instead, walk by the Spirit, and we will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the Law, or because you hear and believe?

We read in Hebrews Chapter 4 and verse two, “For we also received the good news, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, those who are led by the Spirit understands the Good News of Christ, they believe the message they hear and know its value and are able to experience the signs and wonders of Jesus and know how to give him thanks. It’s amazing!

I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Galatians 3:2

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I could testify that I received the Spirit by hearing with faith, believing the messages of the Lord Jesus Christ and I am convinced that faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Therefore, I will continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that I have heard. Praise the Lord!
