“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter; holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and thereby shipwrecked their faith. But as for you, speak the things that are consistent with sound doctrine.”

“Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things. God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.” Lord, help me to share your Good News without fear or shame.

“Therefore, don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything you can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent, or praiseworthy, think about such things. Keep putting into practice all you have learned and received from me; everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. My brothers and sisters in Christ, scripture reminds us, that, those who delight in the law of the Lord and meditates on it day and night, shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in due season, whose leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he does shall prosper. But, the ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

“The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy; no grave trouble will overtake the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil. Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.” Praise the Lord!

Now therefore, listen to me, my children; for blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever, finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.”
