That woman with the issue of blood believed with all of her heart, that if only she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, that she would be healed. Jesus said to her, “Woman, your faith has made you well.”
In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”
“A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. She came up behind Jesus and touched the fringe of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.”
“Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.” Luke 8:45-46
“Whisper a prayer in the morning, whisper a prayer at noon, whisper a prayer in the evening, to keep your heart in tune.”
Today, let us whisper a prayer for all of our brothers and sisters far and near who unknown to us are undergoing some sickness, loss, pain, or any other infirmity, that God in his mercy will look favorably upon them and grant them peace in this their time of storm. God answers prayers in the morning, God answers prayers at noon, God answers prayers in the evening, so keep your heart in tune.
God does everything in his own time. He makes everything beautiful in his time, he has set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God does from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 11:3
As we grow in the knowledge and love of God, we come to the realization, that all things we desire are not good for us, that we are better off without them, and that when we make our requests known to God through prayer, we ask amiss in our ignorance, we are sometimes not humble, we make demands, but God knows the things we need and make no mistake, he gives us our fruits in due season.
There is no prayer too insignificant for God to hear! There
When we are only able to see the impossible, know that God is able to do the impossible. We must pray and believe and wait on the Lord.
God’s plans for us are for good, he said, his plans for us are not to fail, and we serve a God who cannot lie.
We are reminded in Jeremiah chapter twenty-nine and verse eleven: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Keep the faith.
I believe in the power of prayer, and I know that God hears every prayer and answers every prayer. It may not be the answers we want, but God knows what we need. Amen!
O God, you have taught us how to pray, and we are learning to wait patiently for the answers to our prayers. We ask you, O God, to train us to be open and accepting to the answers, confident that it is always your will be done. Amen!
“I am lost, if you take your hand from me; I am blind, without Thy Light to see; Lord, just always let me Thy servant be, and please lead me, O Lord, lead me.”
Lord, I need you strength to bear me up this morning as I stand the gap for those who are hurting, as I continue to pray for healing, for deliverance, for restoration, for guidance, and so much more. Lord, continue to use me as your earthly vessel, and help me never to grow weary or tired as I am called upon to serve for your good. Lord, I pray this morning, especially for those who are so over-burdened that their faith has grown weak, I pray for those who have lost hope, I pray for those who continually ask where you are in the midst of their struggle; help them to understand that you are never far off, that your timing is not our timing, and that you hear and answer every prayer. So, dear Lord, ” Lead me, guide me along the way; for if You lead me, I cannot stray; Lord, let me walk each day with Thee. Lead me, O Lord, lead me.”
“He touched me, oh, He touched me, and oh, the joy that floods my soul, something happened, and now I know, He touched me, and made me whole.” If you felt that touch of Jesus this morning, say, ‘Thank you, Lord!
“Shackled by a heavy burden, ‘Neath a load of guilt and shame. then the hand of Jesus touched me, and now I am no longer the same. Since I’ve met this blessed Savior, since He’s cleansed and made me whole
Oh, I will never cease to praise Him, I’ll shout it while eternity rolls. “He touched me, oh, He touched me, and oh, the joy that floods my soul, something happened, and now I know, He touched me, and made me whole.” Thank you, Lord!
“There is a balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole, there is a balm in Gilead to heal the sin-sick soul.” Thank you, Lord! Give us the faith to believe that you are able.
“Sometimes I feel discouraged, and deep I feel the pain, but in prayers the holy spirit revives my soul again. If you can’t pray like Peter, if you can’t be like Paul, go home and tell your neighbor, He died to save us all. Oh, there is a balm in Gilead, to heal to make the wounded whole, there is a balm in Gilead to heal the suffering souls.” My prayer this morning, is for all those who are in need healing, to just reach out and touch the Lord as He goes by, as He is never too busy to hear your hearts’ cry. Hold on to God in prayer!
