And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:2

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:22-23

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Romans 6:14

“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but, if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ; and, having been set free from sin, you have become slaves to righteous living.” Oh glory be to God!

Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. John 8:34

“Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. But, thanks be to God, that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.” Praise the Lord!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.”

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but, it is not to the flesh, to live according to it; you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. Romans 8:12

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes. John 5:21

“For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the Law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death. But, you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you; and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. The same Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you, and just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.”

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them, because they are discerned only through the Spirit.1 Corinthians 2;14

He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn’t see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you. John 14:17.

“But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true, it is not a lie. So, just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.” READ YOUR BIBLE EVERY DAY.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:29

“I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come unto Me and rest; lay down, thou weary one, lay down, thy head upon My breast.” I came to Jesus as I was, weary and worn and sad; I found in Him a resting-place, and He has made me glad. I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Behold, I freely give, the living water; thirsty one, stoop down and drink and live.” I came to Jesus, and I drank, of that life-giving stream; my thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him. I heard the voice of Jesus say, “I am this dark world’s Light; look unto Me; thy morn shall rise, and all thy day be bright.” I looked to Jesus, and I found, in Him my Star, my Sun; and in that Light of Life I’ll walk, ‘till traveling days are done.” O praise the Lord!

“I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd. Come out from among them My people! Save your lives, each of you, from the fierce anger of the Lord.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, will you lay it all down and come to Jesus? My prayer this morning is for every unsaved person on my FB page to turn to Jesus and be saved.
