They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah. 40:31

Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14

“All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, then thank the Lord, O, thank the Lord, for all His love.”

“Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” Thank you, Lord! Our earthly friends may fail us and change like changing years, but to God be the glory, He never changes.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. But, let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1

“All my life you have been faithful, all my life you have been so, so, good; and with every breath that I am able, oh I will sing of the goodness of God.”

Lord, your goodness has been overflowing to me, and I know that you do not treat me as I deserve, but to know that your goodness and mercy have been following me all my life, how could I ever be afraid or ashamed to tell others what you have done for me. Lord, with every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God. Thank you, Lord!

Like so many people who are struggling to understand the workings of God, Nicodemus could not make sense of what Jesus was saying regarding being born again, so he asked Jesus, “How can these things be?”

Jesus answered Nicodemus, “Are you a teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? Very truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know and testify what we have seen, yet you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe me if I tell you heavenly things? My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not be ashamed or afraid to share your testimonies, for you know in whom you believe, so you could testify to what you have seen – the goodness of God.

Nicodemus could not understand what Jesus was saying, so he asked Jesus, “Can one enter a second time in the mother’s womb and be born again?”

Jesus answered him, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit. What is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Born, born, born again, thank God, I am born again! I am a Spirit-filled Christian without a doubt, I know in whom I believe, and His Spirit leads me. Amen!

Nicodemus came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, but how can anyone be born after having grown old?”

” A ruler once came to Jesus by night, to ask Him the way of salvation and light, He answered the ruler in words true and plain, ye must be born again. Ye must be born again, ye must be born again, I verily, verily, say unto you, ye must be born again.”

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on them. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on them. renew them, embolden them, dwell in them, and use them. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on them. Amen!

Lord, there are so many who still do not know how amazing you are, they are yet to boldly acknowledge you, confess you as Lord, and receive the Holy Spirit. So dear Lord, you alone can bring order amongst chaos, unity in the midst of division, make cold hearts warm, and renew right spirits with us; so I ask for your Holy Spirit to fall afresh on them today, so that you could use them in your service. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on them!

“Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me, Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me. Break me, melt me, mold me, fill me. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me.”

Heavenly Father, every day, we need your Spirit to fall afresh on us, to break us, melt us, mold us, and fill us. We are yours Lord to do as you please, move your Spirit within us, to love what Thou dost love, and to do what Thou wouldst do. Amen!

“Spirit of God, who dwells within my heart, wean it from sin, through all its pulses move. Stoop to my weakness, mighty as you are, and make me love you as I ought to love.”

“Did you not bid us love you, God and King, love you with all our heart and strength and mind? I see the cross there teach my heart to cling. O let me seek you and O let me find! Teach me to love you as your angels love, one holy passion filling all my frame: the fullness of the heaven-descended Dove; my heart an altar, and your love the flame.”
