Whatever was meant to hurt us, God will turn it around for our good!

“I am your brother Joseph whom you sold into Egypt; and now, do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on the earth, so, it was not you who sent me, but God.” Too many times God use our enemies, God use our situations, to prove how awesome He is. Too many times, we have been faced with situations that we could blame on someone else, but the fact is, we most times blame the wrong people, we give credit to our enemies, when the honor truly belongs to God. We never understand this, until we realize, that, what was meant to hurt us, that God turned it around for our good. The same rang true for Joseph; his brothers sold him into slavery or so they thought, when it was God who orchestrated their every move. Amen! When you find yourself in a situation, instead of crying and complaining, trust God, and wait, and in his own time, He will reveal His purpose.

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your loving-kindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night. On an instrument of ten strings, on the lute and on the harp with harmonious sound. For You, O Lord, have made me glad through Your works, I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.” But, I will give thanks and praise to You, O Lord, because I have seen Your handiwork, Your thoughts towards me are precious. You, are My God, and I will praise You, as long as I live.

I am living my best life now. The life I now live is for Christ alone. I have peace like a river, I have joy unspeakable, and though I have temptations and troubles, they don’t conquer me. I am living a victorious life in Christ Jesus.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I know that many of you who have been following me on FB and Twitter are amazed, and I am glad I’ve got your attention. I am so thankful to God every day for saving me, because I am not where I used to be, I am now in a better place, I am living a life of obedience to God. It’s not an easy road to walk, but God walks with me, he instructs me, and also tests me, and with every test my faith grows stronger. I no longer get discouraged when I am tested, because I have seen God’s marvelous works in each one. I want to encourage you this morning, to join me, on this Spiritual journey, which is so rewarding. It will be like no other journey you’ve ever embarked on, and you will not be alone, for God will be with you, and I will stand by you, pray with you, and encourage you, until you could stand on your own, and together, we will set out to win more souls for God. Won’t you come with me?

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he should no longer live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, those whom we engaged with, think it strange, that we do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, and they speak evil of us. But, Scripture reminds us, that, if we suffer for righteousness sake we are blessed, that we should not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled; but sanctify the Lord God in our hearts, and be ready to give defense to everyone who asks us for a reason for the hope that is in us, with meekness and fear, having a good conscience, that, when they defame us as evil-doers, those who revile our good conduct in Christ, maybe ashamed. For it is better if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good, than for doing evil. Praise the Lord!

God help you to follow His banner, and serve Him wherever you go, and when you are tempted my brother, may God give you the grace to say no.” All of us who have been saved are tempted daily, and we need God’s grace to be able to say no. We also need encouragement from others, as we strive to live our lives for Christ.

“O, brother, life’s journey’s beginning, with courage and firmness arise, look well to the course thou art choosing, be earnest, be watchful, and wise. Remember, two paths are before you, and both thy attention invite, but one leadeth on to destruction, the other to joy and delight. O, brother, yield not to the tempter, no matter what others may do, stand firm in the strength of the Master, be loyal, and faithful, and true. Each trial will make you the stronger, if you, in the name of the Lord, fight manfully under your Leader, obeying the voice of His word.  O, brother, the Savior is calling, beware of the dangers of sin, resist not the voice of the Spirit, that whispers so gently within; God calls you to enter His service to live for Him here day by day, and share by and by in His glory, that never shall vanish away.” Amen!

Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous, not returning evil for evil of reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9

“And who is he who will harm you, if you become followers of what is good? For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it; for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Therefore, bless and not curse, knowing that this is the will of God, and you will inherit a blessing.

Let us therefore come boldly before the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:16

“There remains therefore, a rest for the people of God. Let us be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And, there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must always give account. Seeing then, that we have a Great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but, was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.” Thank you, Lord for Your mercy and grace towards us.

“The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart, that is, the word of faith that we proclaim. Because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Praise the Lord!

“For one who believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. The Scripture says, no one who believes in him, will be put to shame; for there is no distinction between Jew or Greek, the same is Lord of all and is generous to all who call on him. For, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved. But, how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in the one whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him?  And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent. As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”  My brothers and sisters in Christ, all of us have an obligation to profess Jesus as Lord, to not only tell our friends and our neighbors, but to move beyond our comfort zones and bring the Good News to strangers, and to unbelievers. My prayer, my aim, is not only to spread the Good News to those who already know God, but especially to those who do not God, without fear or shame. May God continually use me to bring him honor and glory as I spread the Good News, that all who believe and call upon the name of the Lord, no matter where they have been or what they have done, will be save. What an awesome God we serve!

I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer. Psalm 18:1-2

“My God, my strength, in whom I will trust!  My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold! I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised. He drew me out of many waters, He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, from those who were too strong for me, they confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support, He also brought me out into a broad place. He delivered me, because He delighted in me.” Thank you, Lord!

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.2 Chronicles 7:14

My brothers and sisters in Christ, for too long we have walked in our own willful way, for too long we have given the devil opportunity to plunder us, for too long, we have replaced God with the idols in our lives, and we have dishonored him with our evil deeds. We have been prideful, we have forgotten the Lord who gave us the good things that we have. But,He promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14, that, if My people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray, seek y ways, and turn from their wicked ways, that I will hear us from heaven and will forgive our sins and heal our land. Oh, glory be to God!
