Do you daily ask the Lord for direction in all you may do and say?
Call on God and he will answer you. Seek his direction and he will guide you. Our pathways are filled with roadblocks, because we continue to walk in our own willful ways, but let us turn to God who will direct and control us in all we do and say. His will for us is to live the abundant life in him, not to be led astray. Amen!
Will you allow the Lord to have his own way in your life today?
The time is now, the place is here, to humbly yield to God and allow him to have his own way in our lives. We are not too blind to see the destruction, the trouble, the violence that is happening around us, because we are far removed from God, because we are refusing to give God access to rule our lives. But know that it was God who created us, God who has utter control over us, so if we continue to walk in own sinful ways, to turn away from God, we will give him no other choice but to chastise us as any loving parent would. My brothers and sisters in Christ, it would be better for you and I to fall into the hands of man that for the wrath of God to come upon us. Be still and allow God to direct and control you, allow God to have his own way in your life today.
Will you allow the Lord to use you this day, to prepare you to be for a sanctuary for Him?
Every day, the Lord is preparing me, I have received him so that he could continue the good work his hands prepared for me to do. Lord, mold me, use me, try me, and see if there is anything good left in me to be used for your service. I want to be a living sanctuary for you. Amen!
Do you belong to Jesus? Are you willing to let him reign over everything in your life?
Give it all to God, all your wants and longings, and watch him work out what is best for you. Give it over to God and he will fight your battles for you, when you give yourself to God he will reign in your inmost heart, and over everything. Praise the Lord!
How could we know the difference between the presence of the Lord, and the presence of the Evil One?
We must daily ask God for discernment, to distinguish right from wrong and good presence versus evil presence. Many times we allow the desires of our hearts to deceive us. God is not a deceiver, he will not lead you into any path that has regrets. Knowing how to hear the voice of God comes from spending time in his presence, meditating on his word and listening attentively to him when he speaks to us. The more time you spend with God the more you will come to know him and understand his will for your life, so that you are no easily deceived by the Evil One. The presence of the Lord is peaceful, the presence of the Lord is joyful, and the presence of the Lord is spirit-filled. Come to know God in an intimate way, for unless you are at peace with him, you will not be able to hear his voice.
What will you do for Jesus who has done so much for you?
This is a question that only you could answer for yourself. Only you know how willing you are to serve him. I have decided to follow Jesus, and nothing and no one will stand in my way, for where God is leading me is like no place I have been before and I can’t wait to see him complete the work he started in me. Thank you, Lord!
Will you answer God’s call to serve and serve Him willingly?
Many times we are discouraged by others in our service to God. We fear what others may say about us, we are afraid of being ridiculed and persecuted, but, blessed are those who are persecuted for Christ’s sake, their reward will be in heaven. We should not allow our weakness or insufficiency hold us back, but trust God to give us the courage to go forward in his strength. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Do you seek God’s purpose for your life through prayer? Do you sit still in His presence and wait for him to direct you?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, seek God’s purpose for your life through prayer, sit still in His presence and wait for his direction. We should never step out of God’s will for our lives, because this only produces, confusion, hurt and disappointment, but, when we seek God’s purpose for our life through prayer, he makes the pathway clear. Praise the Lord!
Do you feel like you have been waiting on the Lord for a long time?
It may seem like you are waiting on the Lord for him to answer your prayer, but God’s timing is not our timing, he says to wait patiently and he will give us our fruits in due season, he encourages us to wait patiently, trusting him, to call on him, because he never gets weary or tired, he will give us courage in times of weakness, he will renew our strength, so that we will soar on wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. Teach us, good Lord, to patiently wait on you, trusting you for everything.
Are you imitating Christ’s humility?
If then you are imitating Christ’s humility, you should do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but rather in humility, value others above yourself, not looking for your own interests, but also the interest of others, and the Lord will exalt you. Praise the Lord!
