“All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, then thank the Lord, O, thank the Lord, for all his love.”
O God, you have given us so much, you continue to bless us and to give us good gifts, not because of anything that we have done, but because you are a merciful, loving, and caring God. May we ever show our gratitude to you. Thank you, Lord!
All that we have received are gifts from God, and on loan to us, may we always be good stewards and remember to thank the giver.
Thus, any tithe from the land, whether from the seed of the land or the fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. Leviticus 27:30
Then he said to them, “Give therefore to the emperor the things that are the emperors and to God the things that are Gods”. Malachi 3
My brothers and sisters in Christ, have you been giving to Caesar the things that belong to God? Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Our God cannot lie. Give to God the things that belong to God.
Perhaps the Lord will see my affliction and repay me with good for the cursing I receive today. 2 Samuel 16:12
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8
Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:22
Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. Galatians 4:17
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a wicked heart of unbelief that turns away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12
And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God’s messenger and High Priest. Hebrews 3:1
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. Hebrews 4:14
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. Hebrews 4:10-11
“Therefore, since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
See to it, brothers, and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12
“Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion. Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? So, we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.”
The Lord is our source of all goodness. Thank you, Lord!
O God, you have given us this day to rejoice and be glad, and we have done so, and now that it is coming to a close, we just want to say, thank you, thank you, for your love, your guidance, and your protection throughout the day; and good Lord, as we lay down to sleep, let us be mindful, that it is you who allow us to lie down in safety and to wake up refreshed. Watch over us we pray, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
