Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into his grace in which we stand, we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5

To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. Romans 2:7

“For God does not show favoritism. God will repay each one according to his deeds. For everyone who does good, glory, honor, and peace be given, but God will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth, and instead live lives of wickedness.”

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, brothers, strive to make your calling and election sure. For if you practice these things you will never stumble. 2 Timothy 1:10

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and its works will be laid bare. 2 Peter 3 

“As you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with him.”

I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. Genesis 28:15

God will do what he promised. He is not slow though, as some people think he is. But he has been waiting a long time for you. He does not want anyone to die, but he wants all people to stop their wrong ways. 2 Peter 3:9-11

For we brought nothing into the world, so we cannot carry anything out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. 1 Timothy 6:8

I am not saying this out of need, for I have learned to be content regardless of my circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4

When our ways please the Lord, his promises to us are sure.

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. Genesis 28:15

Because he lives, all our hopes and fears should be in Thee and of Thee. He came to give us hope, peace, joy, and love, and we are thankful.

“O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see Thee lie, above thy deep and dreamless sleep, the silent stars go by. Yet in thy dark streets shineth, the everlasting light, the hopes and fears of all the years are met in Thee tonight. For Christ is born of Mary and gathered all above, while mortals sleep, the angels keep their watch of wondering love.” Thank you, Lord!
