“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness”
Lord, teach us to put to death all the things of this earth which are causing us to move away from you and your great love for us, and to put away from us all forms of greed, and instead, seek first your kingdom, so that everything that we desire may be added to us. Praise the Lord!

God loves us more than we could ever know
For the Love of God is broader, than the measure of our mind, and the heart of the Eternal, is most wonderfully kind. Souls of men, why will ye scatter, like a crowd of frightened sheep? Foolish hearts, why will ye wander, from a love so true and deep? If our love were but more simple, we should take him at his word, and our lives would all be sunshine, in the sweetness of the Lord. But we make his love too narrow, by false limits of our own, and we magnify his strictness, with a zeal he will not own. Was there ever a kinder shepherd, half so gentle, half so sweet, as the Savior who would have us? Come, and gather at his feet, for our Father’s love and his fondness, goes far out beyond our dreams.” Praise the Lord!
“Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me”
Who are you this morning? Are you the one who previously was blind and could not feed yourself but had to beg? Are you like him? Or, are you him who begs no more? Did a man called Jesus touch you? Say, Praise the Lord somebody! Give God the glory somebody! My brothers and sisters in Christ, when God reaches out and touches you, many will not believe that you are he. When you tell them that Jesus touched you and made you whole again, they will not believe that in the twinkling of an eye, your situation has changed for the better. They will want to know how he did it, but you just shout like the man who was blind, “Give God the glory!” If you believe this morning that God is able, you cry to him at this very moment, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me”, for he reminds us, that if anyone is a worshipper of God and does his will. He hears him. Praise the Lord!

Come and let me share with you what God has done for me and continue to do for me.
Be still and wait for God’s signal to shout
You may have been dealing with a heavy burden for a long time, groaning under its weight, but, today, the Lord is commanding you to shut up, to not let a word proceed out of your mouth until he says to you, “Shout!” Will you be obedient to God, or will you continue groaning? If you want your walls of Jericho to fall down this morning, be still in the presence of the Lord and wait for the signal to shout. Praise the Lord!
“Come up from the Jordan”
Have you ever felt like you were in the deep waters of the river Jordan? You then call on the Lord for help, and he says to you, “Come up from the Jordan,” and he rolls back the waters of the deep and allow you to cross over on dry land, and you look back at what the Lord just did for you…….Oh give the Lord a praise this morning!
There is no shame in asking for prayer
Where two and three are gathered God is in the midst. He said the prayers of the faithful will heal the sick, and God will raise him up.If he has committed sins they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, that ye may be healed. The effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous man availeth much. Praise the Lord!
But as for me, I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause
Why? Because he is able, he does great things, unsearchable things, marvelous things without number. Dear Lord, give me a faith that will not shrink, though press by every foe, that will not tremble on the brink of any earthly woe.” Job was going through so much, but he trusted in God, he said; “But, as for me I would seek God, and to God I would commit my cause.” How many of us think about God when our burdens grow greater. God is thrown out the window and worry comes in. But, we should understand that God is able, so my brothers and sisters in Christ, seek God in times of trouble, commit your cause to God and watch him do great things, unsearchable things, marvelous things without number. Our God is an awesome God. Praise the Lord!
The Lord is faithful to us. Why is it so hard for us to be faithful to him?
God has to be continually testing our faith, sending us reminders that he is the Lord our God, and that in him only should we put our trust. Whatever you are dealing with this day, it is not meant to hurt you, but to test you. We are pushed to the limit to see whether we will continue to be faithful to God when our burdens grow greater, so he humbles us, he allows us to hunger, so that when we are fed we will not forget him, he carries us through deserts and stormy weather, so that when he brings us out we will not forget him. When I look back at all that the Lord has done for me, I have nothing but praise for God. My faith is strengthened, my praise is greater, and I have more testimonies to share. God is faithful to us, let us strive every day to be faithful to him, being careful to observe all that he has commanded us to do so that it may be well with us. Praise the Lord!
Our God is a Jealous God – give him the praise
Have you not noticed how jealous our God is? Can’t you tell how much he wants our praise? When we do things for others we expect a thank you, when God does good things to us he expects our praise. I don’t care which house of bondage you were in, in which barren land you were held captive; just remember who brought you out – The Lord your God, who said, “You shall have no other Gods before me for I am jealous God who is willing and able to show mercy to those who love me and keep my commandments.” The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with all of us who are here today, all of us who are alive.
