If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18

“Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer. Romans 12:12

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must constantly rejoice in hope because of our confidence in Christ, steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer, continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength. We need to persevere so that after we have done the will of God, we will receive what He has promised.

Acquaint now thyself with God and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Job 22:21

Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 5

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Now, if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3

“A man’s steps are from the Lord, so how can anyone understand his own way? O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. Lead me O Lord in your righteousness.”

To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. Proverbs 16:1

“All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end, even the wicked for a day of disaster.”

I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt. And now, do not be distressed or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. So, it was not you who sent me here, but God. Genesis 45

My brothers and sisters in Christ, you may have been wronged, you may have been traded like Joseph, but know that things are not always as they seem. God is working His purpose out, God continues to work his purpose out in our lives, and where we find ourselves, we should sit quietly and wait patiently on the Lord. It may see like the actions of others have placed us in the position we are in, but I want to encourage you to say, “It was not you who sent me here, God did”.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2

Honor and majesty surround him; strength and beauty fill his sanctuary. O nations of the world, recognize the Lord; recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and enter His courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, Let all the earth tremble before him. Psalm 96

All that I am or ever hope to be I owe it to the glory of God!

“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11
