My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, he makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul, he leads me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Today, Mothers are being celebrated all over the world. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you.

Happy Mother’s Day!

“Be still and know that I am God, be still and know that I am God, be still and know that I am God!”

Too many times we fail to see the goodness of the Lord because we are too busy, we don’t take time to sit quietly in his presence; but if we learn to stand still we will see the salvation of the Lord, we will see his goodness in the land of the living. Wait I say on the Lord! Be still and know who your God is.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5,6

“Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask of God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

“I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities.”

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, and a house of defense to save me. For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore, for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me. Pull me out of the net that they have laid for me: for thou art my strength. Psalm 31

“If I have wounded some poor soul today, if I have caused one foot to go astray, if I have walked in my own willful way, dear Lord, forgive.”

Lord, we sin by thought, word, and deed. “If I have uttered idle words in vain, if I have turned aside from want or pain, lest I offend some other through the strain, dear Lord, forgive. Forgive the sins I have confessed to Thee, forgive the secret sins I do not see, oh, guide me, love me, and my keeper be, dear Lord, forgive.”

“The day of resurrection, earth tell it out abroad, the Passover of gladness, the Passover of God. From death to life eternal, from earth unto the sky, our Christ hath brought us over, with hymns of victory.”

“Now let the heavens be joyful; let earth her song begin, the round world keep high triumph and all that is therein; let all things seen and unseen, their notes of gladness blend, for Christ the Lord is risen, our joy that hath no end.”

“I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.” Thank you, Lord!

To you, Lord, I called; to the Lord, I cried for mercy.  “What is gained if I am silenced if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me; Lord, be my help. Psalm 30

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my Jesus? Have you heard how He loves and how He abides with me despite all my shortcomings? I serve a good God! A forgiving God!

I am taking the opportunity this morning to introduce you to a man called Jesus. That man saved me and gave me victory over sin. That man walks with me and talks with me, He holds me up when I am about to fall, He said ask of me anything and by faith believe, and you will receive, He said call upon me and I will answer you, He said lay all of your burdens at my feet and I will give you rest, and He said open your mouth wide and I will fill it with good things. He has filled my mouth with His word that I share with you, hoping that you too will stand on the word of God.

“What a wonderful, a very wonderful thing to be freed sin, and have life within, to be made a joint heir with Jesus my Lord what a wonderful, wonderful, thing.”

You cannot celebrate what you have not experienced. Every day I am in hallelujah mode because I have experienced the goodness of Jesus, and when I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all that he has done for me, it gives me a reason to rejoice, and my heart then cries out hallelujah, as I give God thanks for saving me.
