Is God’s word a lamp unto your feet?

If God’s word is a lamp unto your feet, it will also be a light unto your path. It will lead you in the paths of righteousness, it will cover you like the shade, it will protect you like an armor and it will provide for you like no other. Lord, the earth is full of your love, instruct us in your statutes that we may walk in your ways. Thank you, Lord!

Should we dwell in the house of the Lord with vile hands?

Examine us O Lord, and prove us, wash our hands in innocence so that we may dwell in Your house all the days of our lives, giving you thanks and praise.

Who or what is the idol in your life that you put before God?

Heavenly Father, we have wronged you, in that, we have worshipped idols, we have put them before you, we serve them, we boast of them, but we now understand O, God, that you are to be feared above all gods, that you hold the world in your hands, strength and majesty belong to you, therefore, accept our humble prayers, and help us to sing a new song of praise to you, for all the marvelous things you have done and continue to do for us. Thank you, Lord!

How does the Lord reward those who trust in him?

The Lord will continually lead them; he will feed them even in parched regions. He will give them renewed strength, and they will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.

Do you understand what the will of the Lord is for your life?

Some of us may never truly know what the Lord’s will for our lives is, because many of us are too focused on the temporal to really spend time with God, to learn from him, to listen to him, and therefore, understand what his will for us is. Help us Lord, to be sober-minded and filled with your spirit, giving thanks to you at all times and for everything. Amen!

Could we accomplish anything in our own strength?

We can do nothing in our own strength, except the Lord enables us, therefore we should give him all the glory and praise. He orders our steps, he lifts us up when we are down, he guides us with his careful hand, he heals us when we are sick, he provides for us when we are in need, he is our confidant when we are troubled and he comforts us in our sorrows. Who except the Lord is able to do all this? Let us acknowledge his awesome greatness, for all that is in heaven and in earth are his, and he is exalted as head over all. Praise the Lord!

Do you believe that God will call you to do something that he knows you are not able to do?

Of course not! When God calls us to a specific task, he has already equipped us, he has already prepared the way for us, all we need to do is to step into it boldly and allow God to do the rest.

Will the redeemed of the Lord say so this morning? Tell out your soul, the greatness of the Lord!

I will bless the Lord at all times, and His praises shall always be in my mouth. He satisfies my life with good things, He blesses me anew every morning, He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary. Therefore, into Your hands I commit my spirit Lord, for You have redeemed me, O, Lord God of truth and I will forever give You thanks and praise for Your goodness and mercy which endures forever? Praise the Lord!

How hungry are you for righteousness? Do you long to be filled?

If you are tired of drinking from wells that can never satisfy you, come to the well, come and drink of the life giving water that will refresh you, that water which only Jesus can give you, and once you have begun to drink from that well you will be able to draw from it forever. Won’t you come?

Are you hungry and thirsty this morning for the bread and water which gives life?

All we need to do is to believe, to come to Jesus, to receive this life giving bread and drink the living waters. Jesus said to them, “Whoever comes to me will never go hungry and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty, but, no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets, they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.” Praise the Lord!
