Are you an imitator of Christ?

“Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave. For even Christ did not please Himself; He came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.”

If then, not all who say Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of heaven, then who?

He that doeth the will of the Father in heaven shall secure for himself a place in his kingdom. He that hath cleans hands and a pure heart, he who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully, the one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them, shall receive the blessings of the Lord, and the righteousness from the God of his salvation. Blessed are the poor in heart for they shall see God!

What is the sorrow that have you downcast this morning?

Be still and know who is your God! Your situation did not come to stay, it came to pass, and, God will not leave you comfortless. He will again fill you with joy and gladness so that you could rejoice in him. Thank you, Lord!

What is your reason for doubting God this morning?

You should never have a reason to doubt God. Doubt is the work of the enemy. He plants doubt in our hearts to make us lose our faith in God. The enemy will put doubt in the hearts, then entice us with things that cannot last, but, if we hold on to our faith and never doubt God’s abilities, he will give us so much more; he will give us the desires of our hearts, he will give us things of lasting value and when God blesses us, he sends no trouble with it. Praise the Lord!

I am pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. How about you?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I am not perfect, I would be the first to tell you of where I have been and what I have done, I am not ashamed or afraid, but one thing I am confident of, is this, I am willing to leave it all behind me, and strain forward to what lies ahead of me, because anything I gained in my sinful state I will count as loss for the sake of Christ and press on toward the goal, for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Since I have come to know Christ as my Lord, I will gladly suffer the loss of all things for His sake. How about you?

God daily gives us so much, but how thankful are we?

Lord, for the many times that you have blessed us with good things, given us such things as we do not deserve, so much that you could have withheld from us, but, yet, you did not withhold your hand, we thank you. Lord for the many promises we have made to you and did not keep, while you kept all your promises to us, we thank you. Lord, give us grateful, thankful hearts from this day forward and even forever more. Amen!

Will God ever renege on his promises to us?

Never! Our God is god who cannot lie. Whatever he says he will do he will. We just have to learn to trust him with our whole hearts, we must be willing to go where he sends us and to do what he asks of us, knowing that he is a father who cares for his children and wants to give them the very best from his storehouse, and we know that our father is rich in houses and lands and that he holds the wealth of the world I his hands. Our God is  good God!

Could we ever forget all that the Lord has done for us?

We may not be able to recount them in order, but Lord, help us to be always mindful of all the many blessings you have bestowed on us. Lord, there have been times when you have blessed us and we fail it to mind, bring them to our remembrance Lord. Many of us were in bondage, many of us were down-trodden and oppressed, many of us were sick and in need and when God restored us we were like those who dream, then our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with shouts of joy. If you could understand this this morning, say, “Thank you, Lord!”

Have you ever experienced wavering faith?

As a Christian, I will confess that I have experienced wavering faith. I have suffered faith failure. It is not something to be proud of, but something that I could use to encourage someone else in their walk God. I could remember a period in my life, and I could never ever forget, when it seemed like there was no hope for me, and the more I prayed, the more I suffered, or so it seemed. But, I came to my senses when my mother said to me, “You’ve got to hold on and unless you stop crying and complaining, God will not move you to the next level.” It was early in my walk with God and as I grew in my walk with God, I realized that the devil was threshing me like wheat, but God was refining me into the best flour. Praise the Lord! God was building me up, God was strengthen my faith, but I was too covered in the situations to see that he was with me all the time. God is with us, no matter what we go through and if we hold on to his unchanging hand, if we do not lose our faith in him,he will bring us through victoriously. Thank you, Lord, for bringing me through and carrying me through all the storms of life!

Are you are rich man refusing to help or a poor man who will give his all?

“A poor man who gives to one in distress his sympathy and good wishes, even if he can afford nothing else, is better than a rich man who promises much and does nothing, or who falsely claims that he cannot help, when in fact he could help.” Let all things of you be done in love.
