“Twas grace that taught my heart fear, and grace my fears relieved, how precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.” That amazing grace, my friends, saved a wretch like me! Thank you, Lord!

“I know not why God’s wondrous grace, to me hath been made known, not why unworthy as I am, he claimed me for his own. I know not why his saving faith, to me he did impart, or how believing in his word, brought peace within my heart. I know not how the spirit moves, convincing men of sin, revealing Jesus through the Word, creating faith in him.” Amen!

I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1

How many of us are able to experience this? To wait patiently on the Lord and get a response? Many would say they have never experienced this, because they may have waited and prayed, but the answer came and they missed it, because they were expecting a different answer. Sometimes the answer from the Lord is quick, sometimes he says to wait, sometimes he says no, and other times he will give us what we need and not what we want. But, if we learn to be still in his presence, to stop babbling while we wait, we will not miss the answer from the Lord.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; commit everything you do to the Lord, trust him, and he will help you., He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday, your life will be brighter than noonday; its darkness will be like the morning. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.”

The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:15

I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me to his service, even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a man of violence. But, I received mercy, because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of the Lord overflowed for me, with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Because Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst, for that very reason, I received mercy. Jesus Christs displayed the utmost patience with me, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of all ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forevermore, Amen! 1 Timothy 1:12-17

This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of Man could be glorified. John 10:38. Many times when we are sick, we think we are near death, but God restores us to good health when we pray. WHY? So that he may be glorified.

And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.” And I know that you always hear me, but because of the people standing by, I said this, so that they may believe that you sent me. John 10:41-42

Who are you this morning? What has God done for you that you are telling others that a man called Jesus has done it? TELL YOUR STORY! I AM TELLING MINE.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, many will not believe your story, but tell it anyway. Give God the glory! Your faith has made you well!

If only we have the faith to believe that we could be healed, we would be telling everyone our stories.

In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed; so, Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking. Acts 14:8-10. My brothers and sisters in Christ, we too could be healed if only we have the faith to believe. The same God who empowered his chosen ones to perform miracles, is still alive, and working in us, and through us. To God be the glory!

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25

“I said to the Lord, you are my Lord; apart from You, I have no good thing. More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.”

How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God, how vast is their sum! Psalm 139:17

“My God, how wonderful Thou art, Thy majesty how bright, how beautiful Thy mercy seat, in depths of burning light! How wonderful, how beautiful, the sight of Thee must be, Thine endless wisdom, boundless power, and awesome purity! O how I fear Thee, Living God, with deepest, tenderest fears, and worship Thee with trembling hope, and penitential tears.”

Oh, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalm 31:19

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us none can compare to You, if I would proclaim and declare of them, they are more than could be numbered. Psalm 40:5
