Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help; whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psalm 146:5

My brothers and sisters in Christ, Scripture reminds us, that, we should not put our trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help, but to trust in God, whose does not change like changing years, but is faithful to the end.

Some trust in chariots, and some trust in horses, but we will remember the name of our God. Psalm 20:7

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. I will declare his name to my brethren, my praise shall be of him in the great assembly. Oh Lord, I will give thanks to you forever! Lord, you are my refuge and fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Anxiety weighs down the heart of a man, but a good word cheers it up. Proverbs 12:25

Lord, there is someone who is need of a good word, an encouraging word this morning, and my prayer is that you O Lord would answer that person when he calls, may you defend him, may you send him help from your sanctuary, may you strengthen him out of Zion, Lord, grant him according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill your purpose in him. All this we ask in Jesus name. Amen!

In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my plea before You and wait in expectation. Psalm 5:3

Let me hear Your loving devotion in the morning, for I have put my trust in You. Teach me the way I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul. Psalm 143:8

Steady my footsteps in your word, let no iniquity have dominion over me. Let your countenance shine upon your servant and teach me your statutes. Psalm 119

“Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who is at work in you, enabling you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”

For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6

“My child, if you accept my words and treasure up my commandments within you, making your ears attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding, if you indeed cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. He stores up wisdom for the upright.”

How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey in my mouth! 119:103

“Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your righteous judgments.”

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:8

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, and then have fallen, away to be restored again to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame. Hebrews 6:4-6

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:14

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we are reminded in Scripture, that we must be good examples to believers. “Till I come give attention to reading, to exhortation, and to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things, give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself, and to the doctrine.; continue in them, for in so doing, you will save both yourself and those who hear you.”

And when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Exodus 33:22

“A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, a wonderful Savior to me. He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock, where rivers of pleasure I see. He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock, that shadows a dry, thirsty land, He hides my life in the depths of his love, and covers me there with his hand. A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord. He takes my burdens away. He holds me up and I shall not be moved, He gives me strength as my day.” Thank you, Lord!
