A FAITHFUL MAN WILL ABOUND WITH BLESSINGS. PROVERBS 28:20

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

There’s a Friend for little children, above the bright blue sky, a Friend who never changes, whose love will never die; our earthly friends may fail us, and change with changing years, this Friend is always worthy of that dear name He bears.” Jesus!

Every day Lord, lead me to opportunities where I could be a true friend to someone, and show me how to foster those relationships. Amen!

Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved. Psalm 126

“May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace.”

Many, O Lord, my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done; Your thoughts towards us cannot be recounted to You in order. Psalm 40

“I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined to me and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock. He has put a new song in my mouth; praise to our God. Many will see and will fear, and trust in the Lord.”

I hate and abhor lying, but I love Your law O Lord. I delight in Your commandments because I love them. Seven times a day I praise You for Your righteous judgments. The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever. Psalm 119

“Great peace have those who love your law O Lord, and nothing can make them stumble.”

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will. John 9:31

Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. 1 Chronicles 4:10

The devil does not go after those he already has, but he is steadfastly pursuing those who got away from him. My born-again brothers and sisters in Christ, put on the whole armor of God, so that you will be able to withstand the wiles of the devil, because he is so mad, that he lost the souls he thought he had.

We who have been saved are daily walking a tight rope, we are constantly under attack, and the reason is this; “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand in an evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Too many of us allow our situations to control us, and cause us to lose our focus. We allow what we do not have to cause us great anxiety, or what we cannot control, when we should be using that energy, to thank God for the things we do have, and for all that he has already done for us.

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vine, though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food, though the flock be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stall, yet, I will rejoice in the Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation.

“When peace like a river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul.”

Lord, no matter what I may face today, give me the courage to say and to believe, that it is well, it is well with my soul.

The changes God brings to our lives do not always come in a straight line, but they are for our good.

When God is in the midst of our situations, the results are always positive. We may not always like the results we get, but God knows what is best for us. Trust him!
