The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to is and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Proverbs 28:13

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us, but is we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. Psalm 23

Too many of us claim that the Lord is our Shepherd, yet we are still in want. My brothers and sisters in Christ, God never promised to supply our wants, but that he will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

“Sing praise to God who reigns above, the God of all creation, the God of power, the God of love, the God of our salvation.”

“Praise my soul the King of heaven, to His feet Thy tribute bring; ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, evermore His praises sing. Alleluia, alleluia, praise the everlasting King.”

Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Psalm 119:15

“He pours contempt on princes and causes them to wander in the wilderness where there is no way; yet, He sets the poor on high from affliction and makes their families like a flock. The righteous see it and rejoice, and all iniquity stops its mouth. Whoever is wise will observe these things and they will understand the loving-kindness of the Lord.”

I will fear no evil for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. Psalm 23

Lord, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies, You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over; surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever!”

“Do not repay according to the favor shown to you, but let your heart be lifted up.”

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid of those who are strong against you, because those who are with you are stronger than they are. For with them is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God. 2 Chronicles 32:7,8

Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Blessed are those who put their trust in Him. Psalm 2:11,12

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them forever shout for joy because You defend them. Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You shall surround him as a shield.”

Do not be afraid or dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours but the Lord’s. 2 Chronicles 10:15

My brothers and sisters in Christ, who or what is the multitude you are facing this morning? Scripture says, “Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the battle is not yours but the Lord’s. You will not need to fight this battle, but position yourself, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you.”

“Praise to the holiest in the heights and in the depths be praised, in all his words most wonderful, most sure in all his ways.” To God be praised!

Heavenly Father, we give you thanks and praise this morning because you are worthy. We will trust you today for the guidance and protection we need because in all your works you are wonderful; you predestined good things for us, and you are sure in all of your ways. Lord, be ever-present in our lives, use us according to your will, and give us hearts to praise you always. All this we ask in your precious name, and let all the peoples say, ‘Amen’!
