Foolishness brings joy to those with no sense; a sensible person stays on the right path. Proverbs 15:21

Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Ephesian 5:2

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” John 4:10

For My people have committed two evils. They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and they have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water. Jeremiah 2:13

Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst.” John 6:35

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh. John 6:51

So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15,16

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the evil times. Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm. Ephesian 6:12.13

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:3-5

“Blest are the pure in heart, for they shall see our God, the secret of the Lord is theirs, their soul is Christs’ abode. Still to the lowly soul, Himself He will impart, and for His dwelling and His throne, chooses the pure in heart. Lord, we Your presence seek, we ask this blessing, too; give us a pure and lowly heart, a temple fit for Thee.”

We serve a good God, a God who knows what we need and who is able to provide. When we make our requests known to God, he is wise, and will give us such things as are good for us. He is the fountain of goodness and love.

“Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, Almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might; Thy justice, like mountains high soaring above, Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.”

But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You. John 11:22

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, Allelu Alleluia! Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you, Allelu Alleluia! Al – le – lu – ia, Al – le – lu – ia, Al – le – lu – ia, Al – le – lu Al – le – lu – ia!”

Do you have a fight song? How many fight songs do we need? I was driving in my car and this song started playing, “This is my fight song.” It got me thinking of the many fight songs I sing when I am going through various trials. Share your favorite fight song, it may be just what someone needs to hear today.

This is one of my favorite fight songs. “The blood that Jesus shed for me, way back on Calvary, oh, the blood that gives me strength from day to day, it shall never lose its power. For it reaches to the highest mountain, and it goes to deepest valley, oh, oh, the blood, that gives me strength from day to day, it shall never lose, its power.” My brothers and sisters, we need to memorize the fight songs that we know and love, that will see us through dark times. It works!

You are to fear the Lord your God and serve Him. Hold fast to Him and take your oaths in His name. Deuteronomy 10:20

So, Jacob told his household and all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods that are among you. Purify yourselves and change your garments.” Genesis 35:2

“For the Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

You are to follow the Lord your God and fear Him. Keep His commandments and listen to His voice; serve Him and hold fast to Him. Deuteronomy 13:4
