Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40

Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith. 2 Corinthians 13:5

You are to fear the Lord your God and serve Him. Hold fast to Him and take your oaths in His name. Deuteronomy 10:20

So, Jacob told his household and all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods that are among you. Purify yourselves and change your garments.” Genesis 35:2

And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. Jeremiah 24:7

The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. Deuteronomy 30:6

Extend Your loving devotion to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. Psalm 36:10

“And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee. For the Lord will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance.”

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies, will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. So, create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us do all such things as will bring God honor and glory. Whatever we do should be done from the heart.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3,4

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Romans 12:1

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending side by side for the faith of the gospel, without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. Philippians 1:27

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:1,2

“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.”

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. Acts 3:19-20

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving-kindness: according to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight so that You may be proved right when You speak and blameless when You judge.  Psalm 51
