“All people that on earth do dwell; sing to the Lord with cheerful voice! Serve Him with joy, His praises tell, come now before him and rejoice!”

“O enter then His gates with joy, within His courts His praise proclaim, let thankful songs your tongues employ, O bless and magnify His name. Trust that the Lord our God is good, His mercy is forever sure, His faithfulness at all times stood, and shall from age to age endure.” Thank You, Lord!

But, if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 1 Corinthians 15:14

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “If there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen, and if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so is our faith. But, since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus, those who have fallen asleep in Him. Therefore, for to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.”

“I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, for His eye, is on the sparrow, and I know, I know He watches over me.” Thank You, Lord!

“Why should I feel discouraged,? Why should the shadows come? Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven, heaven, and home? When, when Jesus is my portion, my constant Friend is He; oh, oh-oh, his eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches over me.”

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

“Those who trust in the Lord shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green; in the year of drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit. But cursed are those who trust in mere mortals and make flesh their strength, whose hearts turn away from the Lord. They shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when relief comes.”

Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:11

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving-kindness; in your great compassion, blot out my offenses. Wash me through and through from my wickedness and cleanse me from my sin. Purge me from my sin and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be clean indeed.”

“Sometimes a light surprises the Christian while he sings, it is the Lord who rises, with healing in His wings.”

“We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing, He chastens and hastens His will to make known, the wicked oppressing now cease from distressing, sing praises to His name, for He forgets not His own.”

“Give ear, O Lord to my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplication. In the time of trouble, I will call upon you, and you will answer me.”

I will listen to what the Lord God is saying, for He is speaking peace to his faithful people and to those who turn their hearts to Him. Psalm 85:8

Jeremiah asked, “Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my people? And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any mighty miracles among them”. Jeremiah 8:21

My brothers and sisters in Christ, there is a balm in Gilead not just to heal this sin-sick world, but there is a balm in Gilead that could heal the wounded soul. But we must believe that God could still do mighty miracles among us. If there is anyone among you sick, you should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

All who take refuge in You will be glad, they will sing out their joy for ever. You will shelter them, so that those who love Your name may exult You. Psalm 5

I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You, I will sing to Your name, O Most High. Sing praise to the Lord who dwells in Zion, proclaim to the peoples the things He has done. Psalm 9

“Because the needy are oppressed, and the poor cry out in misery, I will rise up says the Lord, and give them the help they long for.”

The Lord will be a refuge for the oppresses; a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your Name O Lord will put their trust in You, for You never forsake those who seek You. Psalm 9
