Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him [becoming His disciples, believing and trusting in Him, and following His example]. Mathew 4:19-20

My brothers and sisters in Christ, all of us are called by God to be fishers of men. The question begs to you and to me, where are we casting our nets? Just like Jesus’ disciples, if we leave all behind and follow Jesus’ example, our nets will be filled with more people devoted to God, believing, trusting, and following him. To God be the glory!

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesian 2:8-9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our hearts rejoice in Him, since we trust in His holy name. Psalm 33

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthian 2:9

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I reasoned as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11

“Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Please, don’t think like children. When it comes to evil, be like babies, but think like mature people.”

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2-3

“If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”
