Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1

“Born a King on Bethlehem’s plain, gold I bring to crown him again, King forever, ceasing never, over us all to reign. O, star of wonder star of night, star with royal beauty bright, westward leading, still proceeding, guide us to thy perfect light. Glorious now, behold him rise, King and God and Sacrifice, heavens sings alleluia, alleluia the earth replies.”

“And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

Lord, teach us to be kind and loving to others even when they are unlovely. Lord, you made us in your image, so teach us to your ways, give us forgiving hearts, and humble us so that we are able to see the good in every bad situation. We know, O God, that you have the power to help and to heal. You have the power to order our unruly minds, and I am asking you O God to visit us, at times when we are hurting, when we are confused, when we are in need of your guidance so that we can depend on you to lead us in the right paths, and we pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen! (Excerpt from Is There Anytime Left For God)

He’s all I need, Jesus, He’s all I need, He’s the friend I need who loves, and cares, strengthens, and comforts me. Thank you, Lord!

He’s all I need, Jesus, He’s all I need, He’s all I need, Jesus, He’s all I need. He loves me so, Jesus, He loves me so, he loves me so, Jesus, so Jesus, He’s all I need. He gives me strength, Jesus, He gives me strength, He gives me strength, so, Jesus, He’s all I need. He cares for me, Jesus, He cares for, Jesus, He cares, for me, so, Jesus, He’s all I need. He comforts me, Jesus, He comforts me, He comforts me, Jesus, He comforts me, so, Jesus, He’s all I need. (Another Jewel Greer Original)

“Hear O Lord, the sound of my voice, hear O Lord, and have mercy; my soul is longing for the glory of you, so hear O Lord, and answer me.”

Dear God, someone is within earshot of you this morning, someone is desperately calling out to you to hear their cry, and to have mercy. Lord, you will never treat us as we deserve, so hear O Lord, and please answer. That cry may be for a child who has gone astray, that cry may be for a job to sustain their family, that cry may be for forgiveness, that cry may be for comfort, or that cry may be coming from a broken home.; but whatever the situation may be, we truly understand, that your hand O Lord, is never too short to help, or your ears too heavy to hear our cries, so dear Lord, we know that no matter where we are that you are never far from us, but we farther from you, but give us repentant, humble hearts, hearts that are drawn closer to you, so that when we cry, that you will hear the sound of our voices and answer us favorably. All this we ask in your most precious name, and let all the peoples say, ‘Amen’!

“I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord, no tender voice like Thine can peace afford. I need Thee, O, I need Thee, every hour I need Thee, O bless me now my Savior, I come to Thee.”

I need you, Jesus! I need you! I need you more and more each day. So, draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord, to Thy precious bleeding side. Yes, Lord! I need you! I need to hear your tender voice which alone can afford me sweet peace. Draw me, Lord, as I come to you, in the name of Jesus! Amen!

“O for a closer walk with God, a calm and heav’nly frame, a light to shine upon the road that leads me to the Lamb!” Each day, O Lord, please draw me closer to you.

Heavenly Father, I realize that I cannot walk without your aid, that I am nothing without you, and that is why I want to foster an even closer walk with you, I need you to be the light that will shine upon the road I walk, to lead me closer to the Lamb. “The dearest idol I have known, whate’er that idol be, help me to tear it from Thy throne and worship only Thee.” Thank you, Lord!

“Lead me, guide me along the way, Lord, if you lead me I cannot stray, Lord, let me walk each day with Thee, lead me, Oh Lord, lead me.”

“I am lost if you take your hand from me, I am blind without, Thine eyes to see, Lord Just always let me Thy servant be; lead me, Oh Lord, won’t You lead me. Lead me, guide me along the way, Lord, if you lead me I cannot stray; Lord, just open my eyes that I may see, Lead me, Oh Lord, won’t you lead me.”

He leadeth me: O blessed thought! O words with heavenly comfort fraught! Whate’er I do, where’er I be, still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me. He leadeth me, He leadeth me, by His own hand, He leadeth me, His faithful follower I would be, for by His hand He leadeth me.”

“Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom, sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom, by waters still, o’er troubled sea, still ’tis His hand that leadeth me. Lord, I would place my hand in Thine, nor ever murmur nor repine; content, whatever lot I see, since ’tis my God that leadeth me. He leadeth me, He leadeth me, by His own hand He leadeth me; His faithful follower I would be, for by His hand He leadeth me.” Thank you, Lord!

“Savior, like a shepherd, lead us, much we need Thy tender care; in Thy pleasant pastures feed us, for our use Thy folds prepare: Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast bought us, Thine we are; Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.”

“We are Thine, do Thou befriend us, be the guardian of our way; keep Thy flock, from sin defend us, seek us when we go astray: blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, hear, O hear us when we pray; blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, hear, O hear us when we pray. Early let us seek Thy favor, early let us do Thy will; blessed Lord and only Savior, with Thy love our bosoms fill; blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast loved us, love us still; blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast loved us, love us still.”

“Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us o’er the world’s tempestuous sea; guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us, for we have no help but thee; yet possessing every blessing, if our God our Father be.” Thank you, Lord!

“Saviour, breathe forgiveness o’er us:, all our weakness thou dost know; thou didst tread this earth before us, thou didst feel its keenest woe; lone and dreary, faint and weary, through the desert thou didst go. Spirit of our God, descending, fill our hearts with heavenly joy, love with every passion blending,
pleasures that can never cloy, thus provided, pardoned, guided, nothing can our peace destroy.” Thank you, Lord!
