“Count your blessings, name them one by one; count your blessings, see what God hath done; count your blessings, name them one by one; and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”

“When you look at others with their lands and gold, think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; count your many blessings, money cannot buy, your reward in heaven, nor your home on high. So, amid the conflict, whether great or small, do not be discouraged, God is over all; count your many blessings, angels will attend, help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.” COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!

“Sweet Jesus, Sweet Jesus, what a wonder you are! You are brighter than the morning star. You are fairer, much fairer than the lily that grows, you are precious, more precious than gold and you’ve never failed me yet; so everywhere I go I want the world to know, that Jesus has never failed me yet.”

“When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done for me, my soul cries out ‘Hallelujah’ and I thank God for saving me.”

“Something in my heart, like a stream running down, makes me feel so happy, as happy as can be, when I think of Jesus and what he has done for me, something in my heart Like a stream running down.” Thank you, Lord!

“Happy, happy, happy, happy in the Lord, keeping his commandments and trusting in his word, I want you to know God’s promises are true, and that’s why I am happy, so happy in the Lord. Happy are they whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord!” Lord, may you continually guide my feet to walk in your way; I’ve come too far to turn back now and something deep within me keep telling me to go on. Help me, Lord!

The light shines in the darkness for the upright, the righteous are merciful and full of compassion. Psalm 112:4

“The righteous will never be shaken, they will be kept in everlasting remembrance, they will not be afraid of any evil rumors, their heart is right, and they put their trust in the Lord.”

“God moves in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform He plants His footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.” Oh, yes!

“Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace, behind a frowning providence, He hides a smiling face. His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour, the bud may have a bitter taste but sweet will be the flower. Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan His work in vain, for God is His own interpreter, and He will make it plain.” Help us Lord to trust you more.

Have you ever had a feel-good moment where you just break out singing “God is good, God is good, God is good to me how can I let Him go, how could I let him go, He’s so good to me?” I sure hope that you are having one of those feel-good days today.

Every day, God shows us his mighty hand in so many ways, but many are still so blind that they fail to see the goodness of God; but for those of us for whom the veil has been lifted, we live in a state of praise, we know that we serve an awesome God who deserves all the praise and we cannot be silenced. Are you a lukewarm Christian this morning? Are you one of those Christians living on the down low? Well, I want to tell you this morning, to rise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you, so, stand right where you are, stand right where you are, and Give God a mighty shout of praise. Hallelujah!

Happy are they who fear the Lord and have great delight in His commandments. Their descendants will be mighty in the land, and the generation of the upright will be blessed. Psalm 112:1,2

“Light shines in the darkness for the upright, and the righteous are merciful and full of compassion, but Scripture reminds us in the book of Isaiah, that, there are still those who are rebellious, who fast only to serve their own interest, instead of sharing their bread with the hungry, clothing the naked, bringing the homeless into their homes, and stop hiding from their own kin who need help. But if this is reversed, only then, will our light break forth like the dawn, and our healing will come quickly, the glory of the Lord shall be our rear guard, and we will call upon the Lord and he will answer.”

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under a bushel, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, we must allow the light of Christ within us to shine, so that others may see the goodness of God through us, and glorify our Father in heaven.”

“Come home! Ye who are weary come home! Earnestly tenderly Jesus is calling, calling O, sinner come home!”

“Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me; see, on the portals He’s waiting and watching, watching for you and for me. Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me?  Why should we linger and heed not His mercies, mercies for you and for me? O for the wonderful love He has promised, promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon, pardon for you and for me. Come home! Ye who are weary come home!”

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. They hated Me without a cause. John 15

My brothers and sisters in Christ, Scripture reminds us, that, if we were of the world, the world would love us as one of its own, but because we are not of the world; because God chose us out of the world, therefore, the world hates us. It’s amazing how many ‘friends’ we have when we are of the world, but the moment, God chooses us out of the world, our ‘friends’ become our enemies. But know that when God chose you and I to walk in His way, He promised that we will never walk alone, Amen! And we know that there is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, no, not one, no, not one. He is a friend who never changes. Our earthly friends may fail us, and change with changing years, but This Friend is always worthy, of that dear Name He bears. My brothers and sisters in Christ, His love will never die, so be of good cheer, because you have overcome the world, and we have overcome the world. Praise God!
