Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you. Discipline yourselves, keep alert, be sober, and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brothers and sisters in all the world. And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, will Himself restore, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.
