Do you believe that the Lord hears us when we call upon his name?

I believe that he hears us, I have proof that he heard me; for when I was distressed and called upon his name he answered me favorably. But, there were times when I called upon his name and he was silent, but that does not mean he did not hear me. He may have been speaking to me from a pillar of cloud and I was waiting to hear him speak to me directly. Lord, let us fall before your footstool and repent of all wrong doings, keep your testimonies and your decree, so that you may hear us from your Holy Hill and answer us favorably. Amen!
