Lord, I want to live my life as if I am expecting you to show up today. If there is anything in my life that is preventing me from living the life I desire, please remove it. I want to be ready. I want to hear you say, “Come my child, sit down and eat”. Lord, I believe, that everyone who is prepared and waiting for your return will be rewarded, and I don’t want to be left out. Lord, I may not always walk in the right paths, I may not always say what is right, or do what is right, but you always lead me back to the place where I belong, and that is why I try every day, to live my life expectantly, listening for your voice, as I know that you will call your sheep by name and lead them out. Help me, Lord!
