Almighty and most merciful God, we humbly pray that you will guide us through all the cares of this life, we are trusting in your defense oh God, because we are weak and you are strong, we are trusting you to drive away from us all wrong desires and to show us how to focus on your word. Lord, we will trust in your strength to help us face the situations in our lives which seems daunting to us, we will stand firm knowing that we are not alone, that you are with us. May we never forget you oh God, or be blind to your saving power, but keep walking in your sight, giving you thanks and praise. Lord, we believe that with you, all things are possible, so this morning Lord, anything that seems impossible to us, we know that you have the power to turn it around. So, guide us O, thou Great Jehovah, pilgrim through this barren land, we are weak but thou art mighty, hold us with thy powerful hand, bread of heaven, bread of heaven, feed us ‘till we want no more, and we pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus.
