But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing a wedding robe, and he said to him, “Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding robe?” And he was speechless. Matthew 22:12-13

My brothers and sisters in Christ, scripture reminds us, that, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and he sent out his servants to call those who were invited, and they were not willing to come. All of us have been extended an invitation to the King’s wedding, but, too many of us are too busy with our own affairs to get dressed for the wedding feast; and those of us who do show up do not take the time to be dressed in wedding garments. Too many of us accept the invitation to come to Jesus, but when the time comes to serve him, we show up unwillingly. My brothers and sisters in Christ, when we accept the invitation to the Masters wedding feast, we must take the time to be fully robed, for the Master will not hesitate to have us thrown out into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. Get ready, the feast of king is drawing near.
