Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, that, I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Keep me safe and secure, so that I will always respect your laws. Psalm 119: 116-117

“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.” What an awesome piece of encouragement for anyone of us this morning going through trials and tribulations! My brothers and sisters in Christ, keep the faith! This too shall pass! And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive his salvation. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold, even though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So, when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor, on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. God’s promises are true, he will not let us be ashamed of our hope in him.
