Do you realize how much God shows us His love in leading us every day?
Lord, may we never forget how much you love us. May we always be mindful of the many ways that you lead and guide us each day. Lord, through every hearth ache, struggle and tear, you have been there, through good times and bad times you have been there. But, how do we thank you? How do we show our gratitude? Lord, we will just trust you completely, knowing that you are our Father who loves us so much and who wants the best for us and that everything that you do for us, that you do so well and we will just show you our love in return and give you all the glory and praise. Thank you, Lord!
We could never repay God for saving us, but could we be true to him?
“I’ll never, no never, will leave Him, grow weary of service and grieve Him, I’ll constantly trust and believe Him, secure in His presence Divine. Abiding in love ever flowing, in knowledge and grace ever growing, confiding implicitly, knowing, that Jesus the Savior is mine.” Praise the Lord!
How great is your goodness Lord, to those who fear you!
Lord, our goodness is nothing apart from you, you uphold us with your righteous right hand, so that we should not fall, Lord, you provide tables for us in the presence of our enemies, you anoint our heads with oil and cause our cups to run over. Lord, let your loving-kindness be upon them who put their trust in you. Amen!
Is God telling you to STOP and you keep going?
We all remember the story of Balaam and the donkey and the angel. God stands in our way to protect us, but we still want to keep forging ahead. “The angel of the Lord said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was contrary to me. But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live.” Balaam said to the angel of the Lord, “I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back.”
Are you dead to sin and alive in Christ?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, we who are born again are dead to sin and alive in Christ; we may falter and we may stumble, but God’s righteous right hand will hold us up. We are alive with Him and His spirit lives in us. Let us walk in all his blessings, let us walk in all His light, let us live in all his promise, by faith in Jesus Christ.
Are we able to love others as God loves us?
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God’s love for us was and is so great, we could at least try to show love to one another. The Lord loves us even when we are unlovely, so too we have to love those who are unlovely. Help us Lord, to love as you love without conditions.
Could our lives ever be complete without God?
Never! Lord, for it is in dying in You that we live, and it is in rising with You that we are born again. Every day, we have to simply believe and continue to receive the good things You provide for us. Lord, You paid our debt in full and all You ask of us, is to delight ourselves in You, because You made us free Lord, and because of that liberty, we are complete. Thank you, Lord!
How do we celebrating the joys of Easer, when the images of Good Friday is still fresh in our minds?
Lord, in the midst of joy there is sorry and in the midst of darkness there is light. Therefore we will take the joy and the light that Christ endure for us, in the sorry and the darkness of His crucifixion. We will take comfort in knowing that He died to make us good, so that we might no longer walk in darkness but bask in is marvelous light. Lord, may the images of Good Friday never cause us again to be sorrowful, but be our light in times of darkness, in times of strife, in times of trouble, in times of sickness and in times of distress. Thank you, Lord?
Would you think it too much to give God your soul, your life and your all; after all that He has done for you?
Lord, for your love that is still so amazing and so divine, you could have my soul, my life, my all. I will gladly give up this whole world for you. I am so thankful for the sacrifice that you made for the atonement of my sins. Lord, may I never forget the wondrous cross on which the Prince of glory died for me, my richest gain I count but loss and pour contempt on all my pride. Thank you, Lord!
What more will it take for you to believe in the risen and ascended Lord?
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe. Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have. Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
