In You O Lord, I put my trust, let me never be ashamed. For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me. Psalm 31
“You have redeemed me O Lord God of truth. You are my strength. Into your hand I commit my spirit. I will trust You, O God. I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy. For You have considered my trouble, You have known my soul in adversities, and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy, but You have set my feet in a wide place.” Thank you, Lord!
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27 :1
“Though an army may rise against me, in this I will be confident, that the Lord is my light and my salvation and I have no need to fear. For in times of trouble, he shall hide me in his pavilion, in the secret place of his tabernacle, he shall hide me.; He shall set me high upon a rock, and now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me.” Thank you, Lord!
Sing praises to the Lord, you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holy name, for his anger is but for a moment, but his favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night or two, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30
“Lord, you have been my helper! You have turned for me my mourning into dancing, you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end, that my glory may sing praises to you, and not be silent. Oh Lord, I will give You thanks forever.”
Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord! Psalm 31:24
Too many times we get discouraged, our hope in God seems lost, we forget His goodness from times past; but I am here to remind you this morning, that the same God who did it for you in the past, will do it again, that the same God who held you close when everything else around was falling apart, has not, and will not change, the same God who lifted you up after you were down-trodden and oppressed, bruise and abused, still has his arms open wide. Oh, blessed be the Lord, who has shown us his marvelous kindness, to God be the glory!
Oh Lord, how great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of men! Psalm 31:19
Heavenly father, I am so glad that I know how to trust you, how to wait patiently on you! Lord, when my cupboard was empty, I called out to you, and you spread my table with good things, when I was sick and I knelt down before you, you spoke a word over me, and my soul was healed, when I was faltering and did know where to turn, you held my hand and gently guided me, and when I was waiting, longing, hoping, for your goodness, you said to wait, and I waited patiently on you, and you did not disappoint me. How can I ever forget to thank you, Lord, for your mercy, goodness, and favor towards me!
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and he shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:5-6
My brothers and sisters in Christ, we serve a God who cannot lie. He said to trust him, to delight in him, to commit your way to him, and he will give you the desires of your heart, that he will bring to pass all that he promised for you, that he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice like noonday.” Trust in the Lord, with all your heart!
“The angel of the Lord encamps around all those who fear him, and delivers them.” Thank you, Lord!
“And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; it shall rejoice in His salvation. All of my bones shall say, Lord, who is like You, delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him? My tongue shall sing of Your righteousness oh God, and of your praise all the day Long.”
The earth is full of the goodness of God! Psalm 33
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints! There is no want to those who fear him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who fear the Lord, shall not lack anything good. Oh, that men would praise the Lord! Oh, that men would praise the Lord! Oh, that men would praise the Lord, for his goodness!”
Praise the Lord, all you gentiles, Laud him all you peoples; for his merciful kindness is great towards us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Psalm 117
“I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, for your mercy is great above the heavens, and your truth reaches the clouds. I will praise the Lord with my mouth, yes, I will praise him among the multitude, for he shall stand at the right hand of the poor. Oh, give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endures forever.”
He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the seas were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm. Psalm 107
Lord, we were glad when you turned our deserts into rivers and our thirsty grounds into flowing springs, when we sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest, when we cried out to You in our troubles, and You brought us out of our distresses. Lord, we give You thanks for Your unfailing love.
