“All to Jesus I surrender, all to him I freely give; I will ever love and trust him, in his presence daily live. I surrender all, I surrender all. All to thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.”
Heavenly Father, I surrender my all to you, lead me, guide me, order my steps Lord, so that I may do all things pleasing to you; because for all that you have done for me, I now know that I could trust you completely, there is nothing that I am holding on to, I surrender them all, trusting you all the way. So, have your own way with me.
“Oh Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the world thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, and there proclaim, my God, how great thou art. Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee. How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee. How great Thou art! How great Thou art!”
“When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all he has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah, thank God for saving me!”
“He is risen, the Lord is risen indeed! And the gospel must first be preached to all nations, and He will send His angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation, which is the Gospel of Christ with others.”
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
Dear God, we give you thanks for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for us. By his death and his rising to life again, our faith is being renewed, our hearts are joyful, and our love for you is stronger. May you instill in us clean hearts and renew right spirits within us, always. Amen!
“My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought, my sin, not in part, but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, I can without fear now say, ‘It is well, it is well with my soul, all because of the goodness of God. Thank you, Lord!
He is risen! He is risen! Christ the Lord is risen! Our joys shall have no end.
“Our hearts be pure from evil, that we may see aright, the Lord in rays eternal, of resurrection light; and listening to his accents, may hear so calm and plain, his own “All hail!” and, hearing, may raise the victor strain. Now let the heavens be joyful! Let earth the song begin! Let the round world keep high triumph, and all that is therein! Let all things seen and unseen their notes in gladness blend, for Christ the Lord hath risen, our joy that hath no end.” Alleluia!
We are celebrating the Lord’s resurrection from the dead and his sending forth of the Holy Spirit. What better way to tell of the goodness of God, than through these wonderful Easter hymns? Let us over these 50 days after Easter celebrate the goodness of God. Our God is an awesome God!
“The day of resurrection, earth tell it out abroad, the Passover of gladness, the Passover of God, from death to life eternal from earth unto the sky, for Christ has brought us over, with hymns of victory.” Alleluia!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life John 3:16
“Holy and gracious Father, in your infinite love you made us for yourself, and when we had fallen into sin, and become subject to evil and death, you in your mercy sent Jesus Christ, your only Son to live and die as one of us. He stretched out his arms upon the cross, and offered himself in obedience to your will, a perfect sacrifice for the whole world.” Thank you, Lord!
“Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things are passed away; behold, they have become new.”
“Almighty God, grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ’s body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith, and lay aside all malice and wickedness, to serve Him in pureness of living, and truth.” All this we ask in your most precious name, and let all the peoples say, amen.
Lord, may all who continually seek you with all their heart, be found by you.
“Rejoice, rejoice, O Christians, lift up your voice and sing, eternal hallelujahs, to Jesus Christ the King! The Hope of all who seek Him, the Help of all who find, none other is so loving, so good and kind. He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart.” Oh, praise the Lord!
Oh, the joys of Eastertide. For the 50 days of Lent, let us all who serve the risen and ascended Lord, say, ‘He is risen, the Lord is risen indeed, Hallelujah!’.
“I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today. I know that He is living, whatever men may say. I see His hand of mercy; I hear His voice of cheer; and just the time I need Him, He’s always near. He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way. He lives, He lives, salvation to impart! You ask me how I know He lives. He lives within my heart.” Oh, praise the Lord!
