Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Malachi 3:8-9

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing, that there will not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall your vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of hosts, and all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land, says the Lord. Malachi 3:10-12

Woe to those who seek deep to hide their deeds far from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, they say, “Who sees us, and who knows us? Isaiah 29:15

“Where can I flee from your spirit? Or where will I run from your presence? If I go up to heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in hell, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night, but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. There is no darkness or deep shadow where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves from the Lord. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness. If we are children of the light, let us walk in the light.”

Today, I am praying and my mind keeps wandering, please clear my mind oh God, to stay focused on you. When you are praying and your mind is wandering, ask God to forgive you and to keep you focused. (PFEL)

Heavenly Father, my mind is wandering when it should be fixed on you. I am not focused as I should be, I have not been diligent in prayer as I should. I have not been meditating on your word as I should, forgive me dear Lord. I do not want anything or anyone to come before you, so clear my mind oh God, to refocus my thoughts on you, to do the things you need me to do. If I have put anything or anyone before you, forgive me dear Lord. I want to fix my mind on heavenly things, I want to think your thoughts, I want to be an example for others, and I want my words to be gentle and kind. If I have sinned in thought, word, or deed, if I have been kind to anyone, forgive me dear Lord.

“Savior teach me, day by day, love’s sweet lessons to obey, sweeter lessons cannot be, than loving him who first loved me.”

Lord, “Teach me that I am not my own, I am Thine and Thine alone, Thine to keep to rule to save, from all sin that would enslave. With a child’s glad heart of love, at Thy bidding, may I move, prompt me to serve and follow thee, loving him who first loved me. Though Thy will should cross my own, may it instantly be done, this may I rejoice to show, that I feel the love I owe.”

My brothers and sisters in Christ know that you are always in my thoughts and in my prayers and I just want to say thank you for the blessing you are in my life.

Today, I will dedicate this day in prayer to my family and friends and for and the rest of the world. I am confident, that God will hear and answer my prayer for all of your burdens to be lifted, sickness and disease to be healed, strength to be renewed to the failing, those who are downtrodden to be lifted up, those who are in need to be provided for and for those who are bound in captivity, today is your freedom day. Take a stand for God, be bold enough to say with me this day, that, this too shall pass. Sickness and disease, want and need, oppression and captivity, no more; because the God we serve is able to deliver us from any and all affliction, if only we believe and trust him. Oh, glory be to God!

“Come with happy faces, to the place of prayer, Jesus now is waiting, we shall find Him there. With a grateful spirit, now our voices raise, thank Him for His goodness, in a song of praise.”

“Now, thank we all our God, with heart and hands and voices, who wondrous things has done, in whom his world rejoices; who from our mothers’ arms, has blessed us on our way, with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today. O may this bounteous God, through all our life be near us, with ever joyful hearts, and blessed peace to cheer us, to keep us in his grace, and guide us when perplexed, and free us from all ills, of this world in the next. All praise and thanks to God, the Father now be given, the Son and Spirit blest, who reign in highest heaven, the one eternal God,
whom heaven and earth adore; for thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore.” Thank you, Lord!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! He has done great things, bless His holy name!”

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures forever! Let those whom the Lord has redeemed proclaim that He redeemed them from the hand of the foe. He gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. Some wandered in desert wastes, they found no way to a city where they might dwell. They were hungry and thirsty, their spirits languished within them. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He delivered them from their distress. He put their feet on a straight path, to go to a city where they might dwell. The Lord changed rivers into deserts and water-springs into dry ground. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures forever. Psalms 107

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and be established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2: 6-7

My brothers and sisters in Christ, beware, lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the traditions of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. In Him, you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, and by the circumcision of Christ, he has forgiven you of all trespasses. Therefore, let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body grows with the increase that is from God. My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not copy the behaviors and customs of this world, and be lost, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then, you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good, and pleasing, and perfect, and be saved.

2 Peter 3:10 – “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.” Therefore, let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “You yourselves know perfectly, that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. But, you brethren, are not in darkness, so that they Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the Day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober. Let us who are of the Day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation; for God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:10

God is love, and we must also learn to love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. His love covers our sins; likewise, we must learn to let our love cover the hurts and the pains that those who claim to love us inflict on us. We could never truly understand what is love is all about, until we fully understand 1 Corinthians 13, which tells us, that, “Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects always, trusts, always hopes, and it always perseveres. Love never fails.” Could we try to love like this?
