What is it that is robbing you of God’s peace?
We allow so many things to rob us of the peace that only comes from God. It’s time to take back all of the good things God gave to you and which you allowed the Devil to steal from you, especially God’s peace. My brothers and sisters in Christ, when we follow the desires of our hearts, the Devil is the architect; he is the mastermind behind our failures, even though he is gently chiding us along, giving us all the right reasons why we should go after the desires of our hearts. But, when you listen to his voice instead of the voice of God, your troubles are multiplied. You should know by now, that the blessings of the Lord comes with no trouble. Learn to listen to the voice of God and you will be at peace.
Is Jesus our Lord, a Wonderful Savior?
Indeed He is! He takes our burdens away, and He gives us strength for each day, He hides our lives in the depths of His love, and covers us there with His hand. Thank you, Lord!
Do you do whatever your instincts tells you to do?
If you do, be careful, for Scripture warns us, that to do whatever our instincts tells us to do is disastrous. That to do so is earthly, unspiritual and demonic. We are warned that we should hate what is evil and cling to what is good. That we should be Spiritually-minded, so as to discern the things of God. “Lean not to your own understanding.”
What was my life like before I knew the Savior?
Before I knew the Savior, the world looked great to me,
All I thought I needed, was in the world I see,
But now I know the Savior and have looked into his face,
The only things I see are those the world can’t replace.
Before I knew the Savior, my wants were more than my needs,
I was willing to give in to evil than to follow God’s voice where it leads,
But now I know the Savior, I listen to His voice,
And all that the world has to offer, to me could never entice.
Before I knew the Savior, I was restless all the time,
I could not ever reach the top of any mountain climb,
But now I know the Savior I have His peace divine,
And anyone who knows Him could attest to feeling fine.
Do you want the Lord to be your Shepherd?
He is already is. He has already claimed you for His own, but you keep refusing to accept Him. You instead chose sin and the evil way, which brings with it nothing my trouble and pain and sickness and heartaches. You are always worried about those things that you do not have when God could be supplying all that you need. He is waiting for you to accept Him and to fill your life with good things. Will you accept Him today?
Do you realize that God is near to you and will hear you when you call?
Many times we are reluctant to call on God because we know that we have allowed our sins to separate us from Him, but, God loves us, and no matter how far or for how long we have strayed away from Him, He will hear us when we call and deliver us, because he is a merciful, understanding and forgiving God. Call on Him while He is near.
Do you want to know the hope of God’s calling for you?
God has rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the kingdom of His beloved. He has opened mine eyes, so that I may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, I have receive forgiveness of sins and I am now enjoying an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in God. He is daily showing me His will and purpose for my life. My brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to encourage you this morning, to come to know God and you will understand His calling for you and not only that, but, you will enjoy the riches of His glorious inheritance set aside for those who love Him and walk in obedience to Him.
Do you want to be rewarded for your kindness?
If we willingly do good deeds from the heart and not for our own personal gains but, for the glory of the Lord, we should and could expect a reward from God for our kindness. All that is required of us, is willing hands and feet and open hearts to help. Every day we are faced with opportunities to do good; some of us welcome the opportunity while others turn the other way. But, know that when you open your heart to help the poor, your gifts will ascended as a memorial offering before God.
Have you started a good work that you have not been able to finish?
2 Corinthians 8:11, “Now finish the work, so that you may complete it just as eagerly as you began, according to your means.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, God wants us to pursue good works and complete them. No good deed is insignificant in His sight. His will is for us to succeed and not fail. Let us therefore continue on to do all such good works that make for peace and build up each other.
What have you done from a willing mind and from the blessings God has given you to help the less fortunate?
My friends, God loves a cheerful giver. He knows our hearts and exactly what we are capable of giving or doing. The person in need who approaches you may not be happy with what you have given him, but, if you have given your best, if you have given from a willing heart, it is God who will judge you. If you should give or do anything to help anyone, do so with a willing mind. God has blessed us, so that, in turn we could all be blessings to our brothers and sisters in need. God will not judge you according to what you have, but how much and how willingly you have given.
