My brothers and sisters in Christ, you will be hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed, you will suffer persecution and prevail, if you understand that the trials you go through are for your good, to bring you out much more refined, cleansed and made you pure until the end of time; but, you must not give up, do not lose loose hope, for the appointed time is still to come, and your reward will be sure if you persevere.

If we claim to be followers of Christ, we must be willing to suffer for his sake, it is not good enough to just believe in him, but we must be like-minded, affectionate and kind and merciful, conducting ourselves worthy of the Gospel of Christ, whether absent or present in the Lord, esteeming others better than ourselves, looking out for the interest of others, doing nothing for selfish gain, but all for the glory of God. We will suffer persecution, but know that if you are persecuted for Christ’s sake, and endure, your reward will be great in heaven. Praise the Lord!

When we meditate on God’s word, when we spend time with him in prayer, when we take time to be still in his presence and listen to him, only then, will we truly understand what the will of the Lord is, and how to do what is acceptable to Him. The commandments were not meant for us to be afraid, but that we will know what is right from wrong. Praise the Lord!

Know that whatever you are going through that you are not alone, that God will walk with you through all of the dark hills and deep valleys of your life, that he will be your shelter, that he will hide you under the shadow of his wings. Trust in the Lord and in his ability to turn every wrong, every bad thing that you are going through right now, around for your good. Whatever you are going through did not come to stay, be of good courage, it too will pass. Praise the Lord!

Dear Lord, we know that there is nothing too hard for you, we understand how much you love us and want the very best for us, we know that only you could order our unruly minds, so fix us Lord, renew right spirits within us to serve you faithfully, for Christ’s sake. Amen!

God blesses us so much each day, it will be impossible for us to recount them in order. But we should give him thanks at the remembrance of them, because it’s not because of anything good that we have done why he blesses us, but because of his immeasurable love and mercy towards us. Thank you, Lord!

Dear Lord, we are thankful that you have searched our hearts and that you know us intimately. You are acquainted with all of our ways, and there is nothing hidden from you. There is no place that we can hide from your presence, there is nothing that we can do that you do not already know. So dear Lord, lead us in the way we should go. Amen!

When God saved us by His grace, He had a plan and a purpose for our lives. He predestined good things for us, but many of us got saved and stayed saved. We refuse to go where God sends us, we are afraid to step out in faith, and some of us still continue to walk backwards to where we once were, conducting ourselves in the lust of the flesh and fulfilling the desires of the mind. It’s time to walk in the way God intended for you to walk. Stop acting as children of wrath, and act as children who have been redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb, and walk in the path God prepared for you to walk in. Praise the Lord!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we cannot fall asleep doing the work of the Lord, we must be watchful, we must be always clothed with the armor of God, we must be wise; for the enemy is looking for strongholds in our lives, strongholds that will discourage us from planting good seeds in God’s vineyard, and therefore not reap a bountiful harvest for God. Praise the Lord!

We should not offer the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving just from our lips, but the praises should come from a repentant and grateful heart. When we come honestly before God and acknowledge our wretchedness, God in his mercy will hear us and forgive us from all unrighteousness. Thank you, Lord!
