Will you fight the good fight for God with all your might?

Show us Lord, how to put on the whole armor of God, so that we could fight the good fight. Help us Lord, to run a straight race through your good grace, knowing that you are the path that leads to Christ the Prize.

How can I thank you Lord, for all that you have done and continue to do for me?

And Jesus said to them, if you do it to the least of them you are doing it unto me, he said feed my lambs, and he said, love your neighbor as yourself. As God blesses us, let us in turn be a friend to someone in need, for he said, if you do not do it to the least of them, you are not doing it unto me. Praise the Lord!

Who is your refuge and your fortress?

The Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God and I will trust him. I will dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, for he will protect me. Thank you, Lord!

What will you ask of the Lord today?

Know that to whom much is given, much is required. When you ask of the Lord, be willing to offer yourselves, your souls and your bodies as a living sacrifice to him. God is able to do more than we could ever dare to ask or hope for. Our God is an awesome God, he gives us so much more than we deserve. How great is our God?

Who is your neighbor?

But the man wanted to justify himself and asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor” Jesus told him the parable of the Jewish man that was robbed and beaten and was helped by a Samaritan. He further admonished him saying, when a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God. Help us dear Lord, to share with our neighbors whatever good things You give to us.” Praise the Lord!

Do you want the Lord to lift you up higher this morning? Lift Him up in praise!

Lord, the more we lift you up, the higher you lift us up. The more committed we are to you, the more blessings we receive, therefore we will praise you, confident, that you will lift us up and let us stand, by faith on heaven’s table land, for no higher plain that we could find, so dear Lord, please plant our feet on higher ground. Amen!

What does is really mean to be born again, to become a new person in Christ?

This means, that anyone who has accepted Christ, as their Lord and Savior, belongs to Him, and has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! You forget the former things; and do not dwell on the past, you have accepted a new way of life; the things you used to do, you do no more, and the places you used to go, you go no more. For Jesus said, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh, for very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” Praise the Lord!

Who is your anchor this morning, and through all the unchanging scenes of life?

We have an anchor who is God, and he keeps the soul steadfast and sure while the billows roll, we are fastened to the Rock which cannot move, and grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love. Our ship is safely moored and will the storm withstand, for it is secured by the Savior’s hand. Thank you, Lord, for sustaining us through all the unchanging scenes of life.

Do we show mercy to others even as we seek mercy from the Lord our God?

“If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us, but if we confess our sins God is faithful and just and will forgive us from all unrighteousness.” Therefore, even as God forgive us, let us forgive one another.

Is there something that you’ve taken for granted? It won’t always be there when wanted or needed.

Time is a commodity that fades away, time won’t stand still, nor could be reclaimed the next day, so do what you can, while you can, for tomorrow is not promised to any man. Take the time to thank the people in your life who show up, not just when they need you, but when needed.
