Are you an outcast as others have labeled you? Don’t you worry, for man looks at the outward appearance, but God knows your heart.
Many will be quick to judge you because of where they know you have been, but God is smiling down on you, because he knows where he taking you. Do not worry, for God is your shield, lift up your head, cry out to him, for he has put away from you your sins as far as the east is from the west, and the only thing that is holding you back is you. The time to step out is now, step boldly into the favor of God.
Are you afraid or ashamed to spread the good news of Christ?
The Devil tries to block God’s WORD for one reason only, to block others from entering into God’s vineyard. Knowing this, you should arm yourselves with the WORD of God so that you will be ready to defend God’s name as you aim to preach it, for there will be many adversaries to oppose you. Don’t let the enemy discourage you, but encourage you. Praise the Lord!
What shall we render to God for all his many blessings?
Let us pledge this day to take up the cup of Salvation, to walk worthy of our calling to which God has called us, to be kind and loving one to another, to never put stumbling blocks in the path of our brother, and to give of ourselves to the work of the Lord; not being stingy, or rebellious, but generous and willing in all that we do. Amen!
“The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his mercy.” Praise the Lord!
Lord, teach us how to fear your name, show us how to reverence you, teach us to hope in your mercy. Lord we know that with you all things are possible, we understand that there is nothing too hard for you, therefore, we will trust you, we will wait on you, we will fear you, for there is none other like you. Lord, we will sing praises to you, for it is pleasant and praise is beautiful. Amen!
If God is so good to us, why do we continue to do what is wrong?
Lord, turn us from our evil ways, give us repentant hearts, and fill us with reverence for you, so that we may do what is good and right. Lord, your will for us is not to do evil but to do good. Lead us Lord in your righteousness, bring to remembrance all the good that you have done for us, and keep us from all wrong, in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
Have you ever forgotten to thank God for an answered prayer?
This could happen easily if the prayer need at the time is small, but, we must remember to thank God for small mercies. So, stop right where you are and give God a praise.
Do you believe that God is in the midst of your storm this morning?
It may seem like you are standing alone in the midst of your darkest hour, it may seem like God is not present, it may seem like there is no hope, but look up, look around you and most importantly, look within you, and count your blessings and see if you can number them in order, especially the blessings of God’s mercy and grace towards you, and you will know, that God is in the midst of your storm this morning. Don’t pray for the storm to pass, learn instead to go through it with God, for great is His faithfulness unto us. Praise the Lord!
Do you walk in the counsel of the ungodly?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, the ungodly speaks from their unspiritual minds, they are puffed up, they speak vanity and devise evil, their thoughts are not of God, but of the devil, whose aim is to deceive you, therefore, do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly for their way is dark and the end thereof is destruction. But blessed are you if you walk uprightly and delights in the law of the Lord.
Have you ever had a desire to do something, started it, then lost the desire and could not finish it?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, God is a god of completion, and any good thing which he started in you, he wants you to finish, but you must be willing, he encouraged us in 2 Corinthians chapter 8 in saying, that it is to our advantage, not only to be doing what we desired to do a year ago, but complete it with the same readiness that we first desired it. Many of us allow doubt, lack of faith and others who say it can’t be done to hinder us, but know that if God put a desire in your heart, that he will bring it to fruition. Praise the Lord!
How do you know if the gift you receive is a blessing from God?
You will know if the gift you receive from God is a blessing, for God’s gifts multiply, they are trouble free, they warm the heart, they do not cause anger and frustration or regret, God will never give you a gift that you cannot use, God will never give you a gift that you have to fight over, when God blesses you, the gift is yours, and nothing could be added to it or taken away from it, God is the giver of all good things, and he loves us too much to give us gifts that will hurt or harm us. Praise the Lord!
