“Oh, come to my heart Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee. Let Thy voice call me home, saying “Yet, there is room, there is room at My side for thee.”

“As longs the deer for cooling streams, in parched and barren ways, so longs my soul, O God, for thee and thy refreshing grace. For thee, my God, the living God, my thirsty soul doth pine, O, when shall I behold thy face, thou majesty divine? Why restless, why cast down, my soul? Hope still, and thou shalt sing, the praise of him who is thy God, thy health’s eternal spring. To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, the God whom we adore, be glory as it was, is now, and shall be evermore.” O, come to my heart Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee.”

Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are Mine, says the Lord, you are precious in my sight. Isaiah 43

It’s so wonderful to know that our Father in heaven knows us by name, we are not just one among the thousands, we are singled out day by day for his blessings, because we are precious in his sight. He said, “Fear not, for I am with you, you have been honored and I love you, therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life, when you pass through the waters I will be with you, and through the rivers which shall not overflow you, when you go through the fire you will not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you, for I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” Thank you Lord! I will not fear, for you my God are with me, you are my Jehova Jireh and I will trust you with my whole heart.

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:4

We tend to get jealous or angry when we see others around us being blessed, but we need to ask ourselves instead; “What does the Lord require of us? What are we doing why we too are not being blessed?” Scripture tells us in Psalm 37, “Trust in the Lord and do good, and you shall dwell in the land and be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.” Help us Lord to keep your way, teach us to be patient, so that you will give us the desires of our hearts. Thank you Lord!

Oh, God, how great is your goodness which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have prepared for those who trust in you, in the presence of the sons of men! Psalm 31:19

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who trusts in him! Oh, fear the Lord, all you his saints! There is no want to those who trust him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who trust in the Lord will not lack anything good. Come, you children, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord.  If you desire long life and to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, trust him, fear him, and he will show you the pathway to life. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Oh taste and see this morning, the goodness of the Lord!

Do not withhold your tender mercies from me, O Lord, let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. Psalm 40:11

“My heart is steadfast O God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and give you praise. Awake my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn with praise to you O God, I will praise you among the peoples, I will sing to you among the nations, for your mercies reaches unto the heavens, and your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, let your glory be above all the earth. Lord, let your loving kindness be upon them who put their trust in you.” Thank you Lord!

Blessed be the Lord, for he has heard the voice of my supplications! Psalm 28:6

The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusted him and I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly rejoices and with my song I will praise him. Psalm 28:7. “I will praise you O God, for you have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I cried out to you and you healed me. Lord, by your favor you have made my mountain to stand strong, therefore, I will sing praises to your name and give thanks to you, because I know that your anger is but for a moment, but your favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night or two, but joy will come in the morning.” Thank you Lord!

The Lord will also be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble, and those who know You will put their trust in You, for You Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Psalm 9:9-10

“Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed, he will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right arm. Some trusts in chariots, and some in horses, but, we will remember the name of the Lord our God, we will trust in Him, and call upon him in times of trouble and distress, for he is able to send us help from his sanctuary and strengthen us out of Zion, he will fulfill all of our petitions because we trust in his wonderful name.” Thank you Lord!

“Speak, Lord, for Thy servant heareth, here I stand to do Thy will, every sin I have forsaken, come, and whisper through the still. What is life without Thy presence, rest without Thy gentle word? What is prayer without Thy Spirit, which within the heart could stir?”

“Master, speak! Thy servant heareth, waiting for Thy gracious word, longing for Thy voice that cheereth; Master! let it now be heard., I am listening, Lord, for Thee, what hast Thou to say to me? Speak to me by name, O Master, let me know it is to me; Speak, that I may follow faster, with a step more firm and free, where the Shepherd leads the flock, in the shadow of the rock. Master, Speak! Though least and lowest, let me not unheard depart; Master, Speak! For O, Thou knowest, all the yearnings of my heart, knowest all its truest need: Speak! and make me blest indeed, Master, Speak! and make me ready, when Thy voice is truly heard, with obedience glad and steady, still to follow every word, I am listening, Lord, for Thee: Master, speak! O, speak to me!” Speak Lord, and make me listen!

God is faith and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, let us confess our sins before the Lord our God.

If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us, but, if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned we make God a liar and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:8-10. My brothers and sisters in Christ, we serve an amazing God, give him the glory! He has given us his commandments so that we may not sin, but he also knew that we would falter in keeping his commandments, therefore scripture reminds us, that even if we falter and fall into sin, that we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and that he himself is an appropriation for our sins, and not for ours only, but the sins of the whole world. Now, by this we know that we know him if we keep his commandments, but, he who says, I know him and does not keep his commandment, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, truly the love of God is perfected in him and by this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him, ought himself also to walk just as He walked. Praise the Lord!

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Let those who fear the Lord now say, his mercy endures forever.” Praise the Lord!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, desire to know and to fear God, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. “Teach me O Lord, the way of your statutes and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding and I will keep your law, indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart, make walk in the paths of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to covetousness, turn away my eye from looking at worthless things and revive me in your way. Establish your word to your servant who is devoted to fearing you, behold, I long for your precepts, revive me in your righteousness, let your mercies also come to me O Lord, so that I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me. I will speak your testimonies before kings, I will be ashamed. Who is the man who fears the Lord, Him shall he teach in his way.” Thank you Lord!
