Happy Easter! He is Risen! The Lord is Risen Indeed! My brothers and sisters in Christ, this Easter Sunday is one that we will not soon forget. It’s an Easter Sunday like none we have ever witnessed, and hopefully the only one like it. But we may not be able to go to church today, but it will remind us, that the places where we worship are just buildings, we are the church. And as members of God’s church, we are called to serve and to spread the Good News of Salvation, the freedom Christ’s death on the cross secured for us. No matter where we are, my hop,e is that all of us, would be mindful of a good God, who loved us so much, that he spared not his only Son to die for our sins. My hope, is that we would commit and re-commit our lives to God, and be renewed in mind, body, and spirit, to serve him and him only. My brothers and sisters in Christ, let today be a turning point in your life and mine, that we put away from us all evil thoughts and malicious intentions, hatred and envy, jealousy and pride, and embrace the truth of God’s Holy Word, and follow where he leads us. Today, Resurrection Sunday, is a promised reminder, of the love that God has for us, by Jesus’ death and resurrection, that we who believe in the risen and ascended Lord, are more than conquerors. Death could not hold him, the grave could not hold him, HE IS RISEN! THE LORD IS RISEN INDEED! HALLELUJAH!
