“Love lifted me, love lifted me, when nothing else could help, love lifted me.”

“He saw me plunge in deep distress, He flew to my relief, for me, He bore the shameful cross, and carried all my grief. To Him I owe my life and breath, and all the joys I have, He makes me triumph over death, He saves me from the grave. To heaven, the place of His abode, He brings my weary feet, shows me the glories o my God, and makes my joy complete. Since from His bounty I receive, such proofs of love divine, had I a thousand hearts to give, Lord, they should all be Thine!” Thank you, Lord!

Dear Lord, we are so thankful, for all that you do and continue to do for us. Many times we forget to say thank you, give us grateful, thankful, hearts always. Amen!

“When all they mercies, O my God, my rising soul surveys, transported with the view, I’m lost, in wonder, love and praise. O, how shall words with equal warmth the gratitude declare that glows within my fervent heart? But, thou can read it there. Ten thousands precious gifts, my daily thanks employ, nor is the least a cheerful heart, that taste those gifts with joy. Through all eternity, to thee a joyful song I’ll raise, but oh, eternity’s too short to utter all thy praise.” Thank you, Lord!

He clogged their chariot wheels so that they turned with difficulty Exodus 14.

Have you ever experienced God working out a situation for your good? Continually walk in his way and he will work all things out for your good. You are on the job and you are being harassed, keep praying, keep on being faithful and watch God move the stumbling blocks out of your way. You are in a relationship that is bad for you, but you can’t see, watch God move that person out of your life, you keep knocking on a door that God has already shut, watch God bar that door up. We think we always know what is best for us, but, I have learned to chant this whenever I am tempted, “God, my heart knows what I want, but you know what is best for me, choose!”

Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase, so that you barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

Too many of us are in need because we continue to rob God of what he has given us, the first fruits of our labor. My mother has been tithing for as long as I could remember and it took me an even longer time to begin tithing. Yes, I was paying all my bills and giving God what was left over, but, when I began to fully walk in God’s way, I realized how unfair I had been, for God will never give me what is left over, he will always give me his best. Now, the first thing that comes out of my paycheck is my tithe. If I am getting paid $10 and I am giving the Lord $1, I just tell myself that I am working for $9, and since I have been doing this I always have enough. My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase, so that you barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” Thank you, Lord!

Therefore carefully take heed how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16

My brothers and sisters in Christ, scripture reminds us, that, we should not act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants us to do; that, we should not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, then, we will be able to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God and walk in it.

But, because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions; it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions; it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith; and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesian 2:1-10

Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Therefore, imitate what is good.”  HELP US, LORD!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Too many of us say this, but not many of us put our feet to faith. In other words, we say that we believe that we could do all thing through Christ who strengthens us, but we do not trust Him, we are still afraid, still reluctant to step out in faith. Faith that is not tested and proven is no faith at all. When we step out in faith, God will do the rest. What are you waiting for? No trial, no glory! Activate the faith that is in you, and you will have great faith stories to share. Praise the Lord!

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” We are reminded in James 1:22, that we should not merely listen to the word, and so deceive ourselves, but, do what it says.” Dear Lord, let us not merely listen to your word, but instill in us the will to put what we have learned from your word into practice. For we understand, that, it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before You, but it is the doers of the Law who will be declared righteous.” Praise the Lord!

The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9

“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. I will sing a new song to You, O God; upon a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You.”
